I've read it all before, so that speeds up the process a bit.

I'm afraid I have to be absent for most of the weekend, too, I've got unfortunate pressing matters to attend to.

Agreed.

I hope all goes okay for you this weekend IRL.

Topper, What is weekend going to be? Freeze? Thread lock? just straight play?

I wont really be around either just because its the weekend. I have a yard that needs tending to and an anniversary to celebrate. And copious amounts of alcohol in dire need of drinking

The thing that gets me about Lock is mostly his posting style. Answering each post individually as he reads, though it really doesnt seem to be in any kind of order, instead of doing a summation of his thoughts with some quotes thrown in for any references needed. It makes him sound very disjointed. Just some thoughts as Im looking through

It takes 8 minutes to read from the start of the thread until Lock first posted. And I'm not a fast reader. So I can't see any reason for that posting style. There was really not a lot of content to digest.

Yeah, when you can sit down and concentrate on only that, then great! But when I was doing it, I had people calling me, I was working on budget spreadsheets, and I was writing emails and communications pieces at the same time. My concentration was split between several different tasks, so it took me quite a bit longer than 8 minutes, and my comprehension was at a low as my mind was on other tasks.

That being said, I think 8 minutes is still pretty damn fast - but I guess I must be some kind of idiot who can't read or something....

OK guys, the weekend break has started. Monday at 9 in the morning CET I will resume the clock, with a few extra hours on it so the USA population can get their votes in, if they're not on in the weekend.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Pfft, I multi-task harder than that while I'm sitting on the toilet.

Thread is open, clock is frozen, my response time is extremely slow, that type of weekend break :-D

Zer is much enlightenment looking lightly at the thread!

I am going to go be absent most of this weekend.

Fanderay remains someone I dislike for the modkill comments, but other than that I do not have a preferred lynch candidate. I am still looking for clues, and signals within the thread before I commit to anyone.

Well the weekend is close to over and no one even showed to keep me company. I am disappoint son. So I will kick off the week with a vote for Lock. I don't see anything else at the moment.

I dislike voting Lock, just because you initiated it.

So go back in time and vote first, or come up with your own reason for voting so you aren't voting just because someone else initiated it :)

Or vote someone else...
"Because he reads up slow" isn't a really good vote for a faction game now, is it?

Is there a "really good vote" reason in faction games generally?

The best one in recent memory was getting the master assassin killed off because they slipped up, but apart from that early lynches are essentially voting blindly and praying to god and/or quick ben that the poor sod isn't one of your allies.
