Yeah, I think I agree with this. Elimination through absorption into a faction as well as the life-stealing sort of elimination.


I like the look at Lock, too. From those posts listed like that I get the suspicion that they may be more than they let on. That repeated asking about why people are saying there are almost no roles almost reads like, "Really? That's very interesting considering that I have a role!"

That is a good pick up on Lock. There are a few people in the game who have great difficulty posting this week, but Lock seems more like he's playing up this possibility than actually living it.

I've gone back and read things more closely and you're right, Gait does seem to be the only one to have said that. The only excuse that I have is that I speed read the whole thread so I could decide on a good vote placement. The things that stood out to me were Gait's saying the OP said something it didn't, and that post he made that made him seem roled. Because I didn't have much time until Day end, I posted my thoughts quickly, and, thinking Gait wasn't the only person who had said something about the OP saying there were no roles, I said so.
Obviously I was wrong, and obviously that makes me look suspicious, there's not much I can do about it now. I done fucked up. But that's what happens when you have to read 4 pages of thread while working.

I think the point Fanderay is trying to make is that there's gap between one or even "a few people" making a claim and everyone suggesting something. Even if you were in a hurry and even if you did get the impression that someone joined Gait in his opinion, then it's still a long way to "everyone", considering most people were rambling about something else in abracadabra language.

However, if it were a fishing attempt, I don't see why anyone would think it would work. You must be pretty stupid to come out and defend the position that the OP states that there are hardly any roles when it clearly does not do so.

I went back and checked the sign up thread and it looks like we have about 4 people saying that they were gonna be low posters. One of those is gone. Im not particularly thrilled with Karosis and Dejim showing up saying sorry then leaving again basically.

There is low posting, and there is low posting. It's too early to actually come down hard on low posters IMO, but, for example Tapper, when he low posts he at least posts content in the short time he's online. If someone is still "checking in" by the end of day 2, they need to be given stern looks.

Answering each post individually as he reads, though it really doesnt seem to be in any kind of order, instead of doing a summation of his thoughts with some quotes thrown in for any references needed. It makes him sound very disjointed. Just some thoughts as Im looking through

It takes 8 minutes to read from the start of the thread until Lock first posted. And I'm not a fast reader. So I can't see any reason for that posting style. There was really not a lot of content to digest.

I agree, it takes me just a little bit longer to read the full thread. However, I do have to be focused and I have to admit I've read it all before, so that speeds up the process a bit.

I'm afraid I have to be absent for most of the weekend, too, I've got unfortunate pressing matters to attend to.
