What colour is the flag/banner of the Malazan Empire? I'm positive this is stated in one of the books but for the life of me I can't find it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Don't recall it ever being mentioned. We get a description of the (new) Letherii flag, and we know the sigil of the Bridgeburners, but I cannot recall an actual description of the Empire flag.

It's the imperial scepter on a X background

A talon holding an orb I think it described as.

I cannot remember at all where, and may be confusing it with some other flag or sigil, but I think it is silver grey on burgundy or maroon?

Silver grey because a lot of the claws/talons of the empire are, and this;

In fact, the malazan empire skin for the forums has the colour scheme of grey and magenta, along with the imperial sigiil in the banner along the top

Ah yes Magenta! That totally rings a bell now, I'm pretty sure it's mentioned somewhere else as well. Like in GotM maybe?
