@ Tiam, unless you have more info to share on that front then it does not seem likely.

You seem to assume that if there is a Dragon Cult - a name we've only heard from you so far, though I do not doubt there is some sort of cult - the Dragon must be the leader.

You don't appear to remember your Malazan very well. The object of worship is not necessarily in control of its worshippers. Why should there not be a Dragon cultmaster instead? Why does PS/Ferrovax have to be the leader?

He doesn't Kessobahn, he doesn't. Someone mentioned it earlier and I thought it could be true as the oly dragon we have seen is the one from the OP, the night scenes and end of day scenes. PS is writing as a dragon there, so I was suggesting that PS is the dragon, as he did say there will be clues in the scenes. How many clues have we seen?

Can someone who knows the books answer this: How many of the He Who Stands dudes appear in the books?

I seem to remember three being mentioned before in the thread. If that's the case, then Tiam would be bluffing about the other shield. Of course, that doesn't mean they don't have LPs and BPs, just that we don't need to be looking for another alt as well.

I think there are only three mentioned in the book. He Who Walks Before, He Who Walks Behind, (He Who Walks Beside has never been mentioned in the books to be honest) Maybe before was time, not ahead, and therefore there could be some other entity like He Who Walks Ahead, He Who Walks After, that sort of thing. People say 3 Walkers but I think there could be more in the Dresden universe. There is many Watchers for example. One of them is Macnally but I don't think he will be in this game ;)

He Who Walks Beside has totally been mentioned in Cold Days. He Who Walks Before tells Harry that there are three of them if I remember correctly.

So Before, Beside, Behind. I don't see why there would be a fourth. Meaning Tiam is the final one.

That is sound reasoning. If there are three Walkers and two of them are dead, then I must be the last one.

Scratch that, it's Mac that says there's a 3rd walker.

Mac is referred to as a Watcher, so he will know. Maybe they stay in threes then, I didn't know there were only 3.

Spoiler

So, I'm all for trying to lynch Tiamatha again

Dragon, I want Tiamatha gone!

But I also believe that, if our attempt to lynch him fails, we should TRY to lynch PS. I wouldn't put it past Obdi to be running the Dragon Cult from inside PS. If we make an attempt on Tiam fast enough (as it seems we will), we can also attempt PS really quickly, and if that doesn't work, then move on to a 3rd target.

Yes, only 3 He Who Walks in the books. However I think you're Nemesis and the 3 Walks are your shields.

If Tiam DOES have 4 alts, then this would be the most likely reasoning, as far as I am concerned.

To be fair, half that time was just spent throwing mud at anyone but him.

Is it also possible that Tiam themselves could be the cult? And they recruited Tulas, who has since been 'defending' cack-handedly because they're annoyed about being recruited?

That would go against the spirit of Mafia though - if you're recruited, you're supposed to play like you're fully on the team, not try to fuck the team over because you're pissed off about it.

I can assure you, I was not recruited. No one can recruit the Tyrant.

A cult starting with 3 guys and then adding another one during day 1, who knew at the least 2 of the alts of the cult leader?
Because all of TS's posts were about Korv, more or less.
That would give a cult lynch majority way too quickly.

Frankly, I could see this whole cult thing as the biggest threat Korv/Tiam could think of to dangle in front of us to keep him around.

Yes, but it has happened in the past (or I remember people vowing to do so in their PMs in past games). Besides, Tulas would have been doing their job, and they have provided a distraction. It's just been less than subtle.

One aspect of high-tmdi games I could do without is players who forget to play the game as they focus on night or feel invulnerable. In 2 and a bit gamedays, we've had you and Tulas behaving like dicks already. Just fucking great.

Two things:
1)I play a game to have fun, not to satisfy other people's wishes about how I should play the game.
2)I would have played more seriously if I had any idea about how to make my VCs happen sooner. I have none, but I still can have fun.(at your expense admittedly, but you don't matter much.)

I was thinking of Tulas being recruited day 2, not day 1, as that's when they came on with this new posting style. But I was airing my thoughts more than pushing that as something which *must* have happened.
