Not particularly, but the current stalemate suits only other parties. I think Turkey is throwing the towel.

There's little to play for for England, France, Germany. The first two are condemned to each other and stabs are meaningless. The other cannot really stab and is about to go the way of the dodo and already confirmed by PM that he is just playing to get his centre to a player he wants it to have.

Italy could be kingmaker but won't win solo, but can't damage Russia and can't attack Austria without letting France and England some breathing space.... Or the gesture will be meaningless because Russia is already gobbling up our centres. Austria and Russia seem the only possible solos.

This game screams for a tie.

I don't know why you're discounting Austria as a win, my situation is a desperate one at best. I may be able try running for a win by gobbling up English/France centers but it would contain me betraying my ally which I do not want to do.

Obviously, I am not in danger from Austria. We get along swimmingly. I'm waiting for Russia to attack France and England from the north. It seems to me that Russia won't grow without doing so. In fact, it looks to me like Russia is about to start shrinking without doing so, but you never know. Anyway, if Russia does that, I expect the currently impregnable line that France/England and Italy/Germany are on to weaken. Then I'll be able to move west and north. And when a new balance is found, we'll see what happens.

So why am I the only ally worth stabbing? EM you should go for the win. You can stall IH's advance long enough to gobble up other SCs at a faster rate than IH can. I'd rather someone win outright other than another draw. This game is all about the perfectly timed backstab not the honorable I won't betray an ally. It makes for a much more interesting game when played that way.
