I state that I am unmoved from my initial assessment that tatts is the best choice for a lynch and his case on HO was weak as hell (again, as others have stated).

Nothing game related. I've put my effort in on Shin & Khell as symps who had signalled ST and want others thoughts on it before I spend more time on the thread.

Although, the fact that Tatts self voted like that is either exquisitely timed or a good indicator he is not the killer.

And I still fail to see much in the HO case, so that leaves Azath in my mind as the last big candidate stemming from Mess's signaling.

Ok, here is what I've got with my readup. I scrutinized Gust Hubb and EM. At this point it is hard for me to peg one or the other as scum, because they have been pretty forthcoming and their logic has been pretty spot on.

Also, I scrutinized our two newest players, IB and Unfound. I was working off of a theory, which is why I chose them initially and I even started writing up a case on Unfound, but I actually found something that makes me think that if one of them is scum, it is more likely IB. That being said, [meta-reasoning] IB hasn't really changed his play style. He's still a high poster, and hasn't really pulled punches, although I would accuse him of being short of explanation for his vote at the end of Day 2. [/meta-reasoning]

Messremb is what he is, and I don't need to say much more on that. Whether he IS symp or NOT symp, at least at this juncture I doubt he's the killer.

Of course, I know I'm innocent.

Which leads me to believe that our remaining scum lies withing HO or Azathmaster. HO has been more prolific with his posting than normal, but in that posting hasn't really done anything to suggest to me that he is innocent. Azathmaster hasn't done much of anything, although has received a little heat.

I'm running out of time, so I"ll do a skim over of HO and Azath's posts and lay a vote on one of those two.

That makes the killers either Inane and Unfound or Khell and AM

I would be happy voting for any of these 4.


Other things I notice as I am looking for signals;

HiddenOne actually commenting on the lurking accusation, it was too early in the game to be accused of that but him defending it makes it look like he actually WAS lurking. (Shinrei notices this)

EM's conviction that I am scum, he does not even look at anyone else in the thread, but fixates on me, a bit narrow minded of him.

Khell's first post highlights 3 players, straight off the bat, Inane, HO and myself, this seems jokey but you never know with Khell. Quite a few players had yet to make an appearance and he is already calling out 3 players. Make that 4 by his second post.

Messremb notices HO is actually posting different than his usual self.

Gust does not like Azath's brief accusation, it looks like he is a little jumpy. (He votes for Azath as well.

Ho says Gust is acting scummy so I would not relate HO and Gusty together.

Unfound is wary of Gust Hubb, no does this stem from him being mentioned in Gust Hubb's posts? So therefore it is a sort of OMGUS sort of wariness?

This is what I found about Unfound. He is implicated here, along with IB as being a possible killer due to Gust Hubb's potential symp signal.

Scum don't know each other, or their symp. So, it is highly unlikely that scum would immediately vote for someone that may actually be on their own team, yet Unfound votes, and sticks with voting, IB. Scum has to respect the possibility that this is a REAL signal by Gusty, so this is why I don't see Unfound as killer.

Ok, Azathmaster and HO

Azathmaster is low on contribution, low coasting, but there isn't much there.

HO, as I have already pointed out has some meta against him. However, he also has more potential symps (Messremb/IB/Gust) who were around at the end of day, and did not show any willingness to vote for HO. Both trains were close, and it could have gone either way, but it didn't. It adds a little more potential to HO being the remaining killer over Azath. Of course, Messremb is voting HO now, so we have to wonder how much we believe or don't believe Mess to be the symp.

I know this could appear to be my grudge against HO, but if you follow my reasoning, there is more potential there than in the others, at least based on current information.

(I realize of course that the formula is slightly different for everyone other than me, since you don't have any certainty whether I am town or not.)

Just did a quick read through before bed and wanted to post a couple thoughts. Im leaning toward AM simply due to his play style. I havent played with him before and therefore do not know if he is a typical low poster or not. But from the banter on thread he seems to be an old hand and his contibutions have been extremely limited. His quick response to pressure early in the game and extremely erratic posting have been a hallmark of scum play for the last few games that I have seen. I will throw down a vote now and look through things again in the morning.
