As a symp with signaling on mind, I would expect your earlier posts to contain a message. You really latch on to Tatts early, but that penguin keeps coming up again and again, so I am starting to wonder about Tatts (who oddly enough didn't respond to your comment, very uncharacteristically) and Azath, with whom I am still smitten (he just keeps popping up in all the wrong places). I am thinking your signal to tatts was too obscure an subsequent attempts to get his attention failed (like accusing him of being scum leading town, coincidently without votin for him). And the vote you did place, on ST, rang more of "hurry up and get on thread fool" than a joke vote.

The wall posts that popped up after the lynch seems a bit like he's scrambling to deflect attention off himself and onto others who he thought he could frame as symp, and lead us in a direction away from him and his signals to his killer.

Lynching you would do no good, and I was just musing on thread. You don't deny that your play has connected you with ST, so it's a reasonable conclusion to draw. I'm not saying you're the only option that we should look at, but I do think you should be one of the people we should look at as symp to try to find the other killer.

On the other hand, your analysis is very useful no matter your alignment (at least if we can use it well)

I'm probably using this term incorrectly, but this case seems to be a lot of twisting of words and taking out of context to fit a sort of "confirmation bias" that I'm scum.

"Looking for someone to frame" and "Looking for scum" are basically the same thing, it just depends what team you're on. So my actions of suggesting who might be scum partners, does not mean I am scum and am looking for a patsy.

And then, my mistake on timing is construed to mean "Oh goody, no lynch yay!" ??? If I were Venge, I'd be flinging choice insults over reasoning that weak.

As for the final comment, anytime there's a huge swing mass panic at the end of day, with lynch candidates being switched, screams of scum intervention. It happens all the time in malazan mafia, it sows confusion, and therefore it never does anything good for town.

There's nothing I can do about the actions of others though. It Does look like he was signalling me.

One thing that goes in my favour is ST killing Gnaw. ST was obviously trying to put doubt my way by killing off the guy who voted for me.

Messremb has proper set me up with the penguin gifs and early buddying.

Yes but we know it was ST who killed Gnaw, and Gnaw's only post of the game as far as I can see was to vote for me. You know if I was a killer I did not target Gnaw. His vote on me was not serious, although he did leave it there. I am going to have a quick read up this morning.

I agree with GH that I look most like scum due to Messremb's early behaviour. That should be enough to vote for me today. I will do my best to provide an alternative but Messremb has well and truly screwed me over.

I doubt killers saw anything clearly. I mean, obviously not, since one killed the other.

I will admit, I did WIFOM myself with my comment about killing Gnaw, but it's a pretty mild wifom if you think about it. Someone who barely posted, and didn't signal ST in anyway whatsoever was probably considered a "safe" kill. Obviously killers don't want to kill anyone on their team, so they're going to be thinking in terms of safety kills, which is something they don't need to worry about when they are paired. So whoever killed ST, how embarassing!
