Does anyone have any idea what the barghast "hookswords" are like? I've always had trouble visualising them and don't remember there being any description of them. I can't really imagine them being like the Chinese hook swords/twin hooks.
My closest guess was something like a longsword with the end having a spike going back towards the hilt ( like the end of a fish hook) or the HBO Games of Thrones representation of the arakhs or a khopesh, sort of a sickle sword. Same goes for the new ones they find in the canoes as well really.
Here's a few link for the ones I've mentioned:

Arakh: http://alexcollins17...arios-arakh.jpg
Khopesh: http://www.odinblade...n/Khopesh/2.jpg
Any thoughts?

I always imagine the Arakh from GoT too tbh. It is a very good visualisation of a function hook sword IMO

looks like the swords the Uruk'ai use from LOTR, I imagine these are the barghast weapons, huge cumbersome dudes weilding huge swords is a better fit that arakhs IMO
