I'd like to hear Demelain's opinions as to whom he thinks is scum. We've got plenty of time. he's at L-1; I can hammer anytime. In the meantime, I'm going to ponder some what ifs.

Assuming we don't lynch Demelain.

3 scum one of whom is Demelain.

2 have NKs. 3rd is demelain. 4 kills with one of the targets being the Chrono dude. leaves 5 alive; they vote night and it's over.

4 kills and they miss chrono. 6 alive (Rhyll being rezzed). They vote night and kill two. 4 alive, vote night and it's over.

So today is D-day.

3 scum and Demelain is town.

2 nks. (Neither of which is Demelain because he has BPs so why waste your shots.) They hit chrono. 7 alive.
they don't hit chrono. 8 alive (assuming the Rhyll rez.)

Today isn't D-day.

So the big IF is we lynch you and you're town.

8 live going into night. 2 nks. they hit chrono. 6 alive.
8 live going into night. They dont' hit chrono. 7 alive.

But you're town so what contract does the 3rd scum have? if we assume the force field then tomorrow the group is split.

They put 5 into one group. 2 town and 3 scum. Lynch, NK. Wait for the shield to come down. Scum win

Dem, give me a bit more time to think this through. If you're town you can always hammer yourself. But I think that your death is going to be a scum win regardless.

The contractor becomes capable of creating a vertically-oriented force-field which stretches infinitely upwards, to the sides and downwards. The wall can be sustained for some time, but the contract only allots a single use before Fulfillment.
Ability: Once you hold this contract, divide all living players into two groups. Beginning at the next Dawn, players will only be able to perform night actions on and vote for players in their own group. Each group can lynch one player in their group per day, with vote requirements reflecting the number of players in the group. This effect lasts for two days and nights.
Renumeration: Hyperactive Vocalization. You must reply (with quote) to every post made by a player in your group, and you must do so chronologically and before posting any original non-reply posts. You must do so within 24 hours of any given post and each reply must be a genuine reply of at least 10 words.
Relinquish: you can only relinquish this contract through its Fulfillment effect
Fulfillment: once the force-field effect ends, this contract is Fulfilled and automatically relinquished.


If I'm reading that correctly, the split groups has ALREADY been done. So if scum have it the games over? (question not statement.)

I'm not sure how best I'd have employed these.

but I'd really have preffered being used well by town.

it's in the wording of the contract. The list has already been made and submitted, but the actual splitting isn't done until dawn. So renumeration wouldn't start until the split is done. Of course you had to start your renumeration today, so I could be off there.
