Has anybody considered Silchas might be adopted? He does look totally different from his brothers. There is a convention of hostage exchange, and say when Silchas was sent to the Purake house his birth family died and he got adopted?

Now this is total, utter, blowing in the wind speculation!!Posted Image

Anomander doesn't obtain his dark skin colour until the events in FoD, I would imagine that before that event they all looked fairly similar.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

But isn't Silchas albino before the Andii become dark-skinned?

Yes I believe he is. So I imagine he looks like his brothers except for coloring. They are 'golden-skinned' (sun-bronzed, I guess?) with dark hair and color-shifting (?) eyes, he is white-skinned, white-haired and red-eyed. MD's magic is apparantly not strong enough to change this. Or he is a natural sceptic / unbeliever, but I think it's the first option. Maybe 'Ruin' is the Tiste word for albino??
