If you got it from a drop then it probably does have different upgrades, yeah. You can always re-roll it with Xur though when he comes around with an exotic upgrade...

Either way it is invaluable in PvE and damn good in PvP - I've never had an issue with the kick as it more or less goes back to the original point once it settles, either. It's just not great for quick shots.

It might just change the recoil type rather stability, but seriously, you'll kick yourself if you dismantle it. Black Hammer is better in certain situations, but in general Icebreaker is the one to beat. It also has a hidden stagger bonus and a critical hit will stagger anything, including ultras like Phogoth and The Archon Priest.

Good haul from this weeks VoG. Fatebringer, Praedyth's Timepiece, the raid helmet with better stats, class item, another sparrow and another Vex Mythoclast. Not too shabby at all. Absolutely loving Fatebringer, it's my first weapon with firefly.

I got Monte Carlo in last weeks nightfall, I'm not impressed tbh. Yeah, it looks cool but then again I don't have it upgraded, the reduce melee cooldown ability seems good but it'll be of more use on a character other than my warlock.

Been watching the reveals for House of Wolves, looks awesome. Might actually try and level my second character past 10 so I can use some of the new gear.

Glad I kept all of my VoG gear, I still wear it over CE gear cause I prefer the aesthetics even though it only takes me to 31, nice touch letting us take all our gear to 34.

Monte Carlo is still lurking in my vault,think I'm going to make a second warlock so once it gets to 20 it can use all the gear of my main, then I can start doing the weekly twice a week rather than one and up my chances of getting a Gjallarhorn!

HoW really shits on TDB, picked up a set of the new vanguard armour just for a change in appearance.

Yeah, was a bit miffed that the commendations only give 250 rep, would have been nice if it was 500.

I just wish that they added some more larger areas for story missions etc., rather than trying to fool us into thinking it's new by having us go through the area backwards.

Also, got a Dragon's Breath from Crota, reckon I'm just going to shard it.

I love the look of the Dead Orbit stuff but never bothered with them since I've always gone Int/Dis. I tend to just level up Vanguard since I like being able to wear whatever class item I want, not a fan of the faction ones.

I'm rocking the harlequin pendulum, by far the best warlock bond I've seen, definitely worth the 25 motes. It's like a mini solar system on your arm and changes colour over time.

Until the factions offer their shaders as something I can buy after hitting a specific rank, I won't be joining any of them.

Ugh all my friends are on and playing since House of Wolves came out, and I get the urge, then I remember why I quit.

Did they fix the terrible loot system, horrible way of making a raid, and the lag issues?

I hear they doubled the drop rate for almost everything in Crucible now. Not sure how it will affect legendaries specifically but they should be more common.

I got my icebreaker from crucible a while ago, but every other one has been from nightfalls, raids or xur. I've gotten an exotic on my last four raids. The VoG legendary gear is my favourite though, Fatebringer, Vision of Confluence and Found Verdict are going to be my first etheric light upgrades.

Yeah I got the fourth horseman, the new machine gun. Got the shotgun on my lvl 32 run, came with a modifier that using a super refills ammo. Means I can finally swap out invective on my voidwalker
