Did a quick read up. with it being 4 vs 2, if we lynch wrong its game over. Should we give any thought to voting night? (i know I know, lynch me now...) It would remove one suspect from our list and doesn't change the fact that we need to make our next lynch correct. At this point we need all 4 of us on the train to lynch scum (barring a distancing vote). If we vote night, we will need 3 on the train, plus we get a whole 36 hours to ferret out the scum. It might be worth considering. Of course the killer could always withhold his kill, but at the least it would buy us some time.
I think voting night would be a precious loss of time to figure stuff out.

Remove Vote
Ok, in my re-read this stood out to me. This is the day Galayn Lord was up for lynch, at L-1 actually. Before GL actually did his full reveal, Eloth removes.
This makes me feel he is rather PI. Scum can make statements like "he will probably be inno" or "he strikes me as inno" because they KNOW and will be able to say "i told you so". But because they also want lynches and while town has something to lose if they lynch wrong, scum don't have to worry about that. It's hard to see scum removing here, or at least being the FIRST to remove here.
This makes Eloth look better to me.
Very good point, nice catch. I had forgotten that the modkill now makes this D-Day unless we lynch scum, as Korabas pointed out. Eloth's play so far with Alkend's comment above pretty much clears Eloth for me, if we have one lynch left. It also makes me PI Alkend for some gut reason; he's been making a good case on Denul all game, sometimes more here or there, but I think he's on the level.
Hang on there. We have seen scum avoid killing and make cases on each other. I wouldn't go and clear someone just for removing a vote. Much less clear two people off of that vote removal. If they are both scum then it could easily be one helping to clear the other off of a smart early game play.
Ok, Tiam, odd post.
First I name you as my prime suspect. But instead of a rebuttal or any sort of defense, you actually go out of your way to NOT mention it and clip it from my quote. Then you say I shouldn't be PI'ing people because they could both be scum... I said Alkend was mostly based on gut reaction, Eloth based on play. You didn't offer any counter-reasons as to why they might be scum or not. And you have not addressed the fact that numerous people have said you are their top lynch target. After you claim that today is D-Day, that is certainly odd - if Alkend and Eloth are scum, you must be town, which means lynching you would lose the game for town. And yet not a single comment on this at all...
Scummy scum is scummy.
I am sorry did I hurt your feelings. I have only been a prime suspect for half of the game and have already given multiple rebuttals and defenses. I have given them to your previous accusations. I have given them to Beks previous accusations. I have given them when I was blue. I have given them when I was green. I have given them when I was mean. I have given them when I was lean. I have given them in a tree. I have given them to a bee. If you wish for me to give them again. You are going to turn blue. There are only a handful of us left alive there are not a lot of pages. Feel free to go back and look. Why would I comment on something that seems pretty obvious. That would just make me look like I was threatening town or some such crap. I am not going to do that any more then I am going to vote for myself. At this point any town lynch will cost us the game. Myself, yourself, anyself.
You see Alkend CI Eloth based on Eloths vote removal from GL. Ok. I can see that. But I also see that as potentially smart scum play. One scum CIing another scum. We have seen that happen before. I am not discounting anyone. I am not CIing anyone. Frankely the focus on me seems to be clouding a lot of peoples vision. If there were more players I would say lynch me to remove the cloud. But we don't have that option anymore.

Ok, fine -
So who do you like for the lynch? Unless I'm mistaken you haven't put forth any opinions yet today. And you also haven't responded to other people's opinions about others (i.e., not yourself). You and Denul both seem to have this issue - who do you think is scum and why? It's great and all to say you've gone through and dismissed all cases against you and that you would clear the air with your lynch if we had the luxury, but all that really matters right now is WHO WE LYNCH. So how about commenting on that instead of everything else that is pure ancillary bullshit by comparison.

I'm having a really hard time picking out things that I think would make good cases....
Denul, however, is really itching me the wrong way. He spends most of early game trying to push a case against Okaros. But that's not what bugs me... What bugs me are posts like these (underlines mine):
It feels to me like he's always happy to vote wherever the train is going, but he keeps mentioning Tiam as his main suspect. He never really expands on his suspicions against Tiam, but by mentioning him each time he votes where the train is going, he's keeping Tiam fresh in our minds as a suspect. I've already said that I don't really think that Tiam is scum, so I'm weary of this type of play.

vote Kesso
How do you like your case now? I really wish I could read up more thoroughly. I do think GL makes some good posts, but I feel really out of the loop on the MO case. I wasn't around for any of the votes early in day 1. The Tiam case I could get behind tomorrow. I have already stated that he was suspicious for suggesting that we don't lynch. But for now My vote stays on Kesso as a show that I am not, in fact, symping him.

I was going to vote tiam, as I have had suspicions on him early, but as he posts more, I get a more town vibe. That being said, if it's between him and no lynch, ill vote tiam. I don't give much credence to the Bek vote as it looks pretty omgus at this point.
I am in phone, please count vote if it doesn't bold. I am headed back to work, barring anything popping up, I should be around to switch my vote.

That is easy. You have been aggressively voting but not really posting until just now. That is the same reason that I suspect Denul.
Ok, this is the only post I see you've made where you actually comment on the game today. Apparently you suspect Alkend and Denul. Alkend has been pushing hard for a Denul lynch all game, and even just today, he has still been analyzing the thread and posts his top choices for scum afterwards:
Alkend, on 25 March 2014 - 11:22 AM, said:
Well, Kesso is dead, care to say why me? It'd again be another person on the MO-HO train early, so I'm not sure why you don't like people who voted early on that train...
I wish I could have whittled this down more, but my top three for scum are, in no particular order, Tiam, Denul and Eloth.
I don't see how you can suspect both Alkend and Denul when they are clearly opposed to each other on thread, quite vocally actually. So how do you explain this? Scum pushing for scum lynches on D-Day? I doubt it.

My suspect list
Alkend - Even though he came on really strongly the last page or so. He didn't do it until his name cropped up as a top suspect. He has also started half of the lynch trains. True someone does. But still
Denul - He has avoided commenting and his seemingly drive by voting is suspect.
Eloth - I really don't have a good read on him. I feel if Alkend is scum then Eloth is his partner
Okaros - Very vocal if he is scum he deserves the win.
Korbas - In my eyes least likely to be scum. This is probably due to the fact that he hasn't busted my balls all game. If he is scum he also deserves to win.

Then again, this COULD be him nonchalantly dismissing the case against Tiam, while making it seem like he DOES think it has merit.
I dunno, the more I read, the more I think that Tiam and/or Denul are scum. Could be one, could be both, but I'm sure there's at least one of them that IS scum. I'd be willing to vote Denul, and could vote for Tiam with a little coaxing. He has done some shady stuff...

Your kidding right. Scum most definitely wants a lynch on D-day. How the fuck else are they suppose to win. They just don't want their own lynch on D-day. Just because one player has a hard on for another all game doesn't mean he isn't scum.

I am in phone, please count vote if it doesn't bold. I am headed back to work, barring anything popping up, I should be around to switch my vote.
Edit: tried to fix bold
It feels to me like he's always happy to vote wherever the train is going, but he keeps mentioning Tiam as his main suspect. He never really expands on his suspicions against Tiam, but by mentioning him each time he votes where the train is going, he's keeping Tiam fresh in our minds as a suspect. I've already said that I don't really think that Tiam is scum, so I'm weary of this type of play.
Thank you I also do shady stuff. That is my preferred style of play. After how ever many years of playing I think that I have it down to a pretty fine art.

You are only one vote ahead of me on the MO train. I like how your trying to tie yourself to Beks. I voted for him because he voted for me. That is pretty obvious. As for why I suspect you.

I wish I could have whittled this down more, but my top three for scum are, in no particular order, Tiam, Denul and Eloth.

I don't see how you can suspect both Alkend and Denul when they are clearly opposed to each other on thread, quite vocally actually. So how do you explain this? Scum pushing for scum lynches on D-Day? I doubt it.
Your kidding right. Scum most definitely wants a lynch on D-day. How the fuck else are they suppose to win. They just don't want their own lynch on D-day. Just because one player has a hard on for another all game doesn't mean he isn't scum.
No, you misunderstood me. Or I was not clear. My point was that a scum would not push for a lynch of another scum on D-Day. Because that makes it NOT D-Day anymore. So I do not think we will see scum voting for scum anymore at this point. That is what I meant.
Of course, I realize now I am assuming that the remaining two scum know each other...but I don't think it's that big of a leap, and if they don't, they're basically playing as a reverse RI in the dark. So I figure they probably know each other at this point in the game.

This is the post where I originally said that I think Tiam is most likely town:
So what you're saying is that Tiam and I must have offthread communications, and that we're stupid enough to decide off thread to vote the same way within 10 minutes of each other?
I feel like Tiam is likely town, but not to the point where I won't consider a case against him. I see the merit in your accusations re: Tiam, but the whole suggestion that we have offthread comms and then would pull something so ridiculous is kind of silly.
Basically, my opinion hasn't changed. I think that Tiam is participating, and he's not doing anything terribly contradictory, or that really pings the scumdar for me. He's stated again and again that he has very limited amount of time to play, and he's been posting when he can. A lot of the things that people are accusing him of being scummy for could easily be chalked up to innocent mistakes based on making on the fly decisions due to a short amount of time to actually play. I'm not saying that we can PI him in any way, but he just doesn't strike me as scum. If he does end up being scum, then I'll be kicking myself, but hey, this is my opinion.
I want to go have a closer look at Eloth. He's about the only player I haven't got a great read on. I think it's possible that he and Denul could be paired.

Also what's the deal with this?
Tiam is all over Bek and Kesso until Korabas points out the time on the clock, then Tiam switches to OL and Korabas follows Tiam's vote less than ten minutes later.
I'm not going to speculate too much on mechanics but I would not be surprised if the "three killer" scenario turned into a normal paired-killer role after one of them died...meaning comms. This possibility and the above interaction makes Korabas next on my list after Tiam.

Ok. Now we are getting somewhere. From this, would I be right to say you are PI'ing Korbas, unsure of Eloth and me, and still think Alkend and Denul are most likely to be scum at this point?
I am not PIing anyone. I just find that I trust Korbas a little bit more then say you and eloth and thus slightly more then Alkend and Denul. Which does not mean that I am PIing ( I am fundamentally against PIing or CIing anyone. To many games with a fucking hoping FM) anyone.

Hey guys, in all likelihood this is going to be my only post of the day as I won't have access to internet again until well after timeout. I'm going to go ahead and vote with Bek on this one.
Vote Tiamatha
Mostly because I agree with Bek's assessment of Tiam's recent play. Having said that, after reading over the thread at the weekend, I have found something on another player. I'm not sure whether to reveal it, because it either points to scum or to roled town, and I don't know which. I'll be around for maybe 40 minutes if someone wants to give me inout on whether to say anything or not.

Given it's D-Day, I'd really like to hear what Eloth was talking about in this post....

These two posts here could be slightly suspicious:
The scenario I have in my head is that Eloth's trying to throw suspicion towards Kesso, Okral, Korabas and Tiam as low posters. Denul and Eloth have offthread comms and Denul's all like "Dude, you need to add my name to that list cause I'm a low poster too and it would be suspicious if you don't mention me."
I know this is just speculation, but it struck me as a little funny.

PS, the current vote is on Okral Lom, not Bek Okhan.
The reason I asked my question above is because it might influence how killers play the game. If Shadowthrone and Cotillion are around from the start, then they might want to hide super low until such time as they gained the kill. No one wants to be kynched as a non-killing killer. But, at the same time, the presumption would be that they knew who Monok was, in which case we'd also look at those against a Monok lynch. Which, yes I'm aware, puts me in there, as i was always against a Monok lynch. But I simply saw better targets elsewhere.
If, on the other hand, Monok chose his successor and that person effectively became a new killer, then all the above isn't even worth considering. However, I think it is some form of the above, for the reason that we have already seen two people who knew each other. That could be abused too easily, if, say, in this scenario Galayn had become the new killer and imediately knew to take out Kilava as Fiddler and presumably a roled town.
So, my helief is that Monok's successor is one of his low poster buddies. Kesso, Okral, Korabas, maybe Tiam, would be my first ports of call.

I see your thinking and it is flawed. If a scum player could potentially clear himself by sacrificing his partner and get people to come over to his side. Then ballsy scum could make that kind of move. I have seen that happen before. Recently if my memory is correct.
I just realized that recently in my mafia memory could be anywhere from 1-4 years..sigh..

Even if this happened tonight, it would still benefit us by lynching scum and giving us another day. I'm not saying there aren't ballsy scum out there who would vote off their killer partner with 6 people alive (leaving him at 3v1 the next day), but I just don't see it playing out that way right now. I'm not saying this eliminates the possibility of someone being scum, I'm just saying that the scenario you are describing is unlikely. And the fact that we're talking about it is just fuel to the fire for scum anyway.
