Sigh, what a time for my internet to start dying. I wrote a long post and then lost it all.

The scum duos I see as possible are:

Korabas-Tiamatha

Denul-Tiamatha

Korabas-Denul. Yes, this one too. However, this one would make more sense if both were under suspicion. In this instance, only Denul has received anything like severe pressure.

The common link within the other two is Tiamatha.

I do find the MO failed lynch and actual lynch trains very amusing:

Failed lynch:

2 Votes for Kessobahn; (Alkend, Denul)
4 Votes for Monok Ochem; (Galayn Lord, Okaros, Bek Okhan, Ampelas)
1 Vote for Tiamatha; (Korabas)
1 Vote for Ampelas; (Eloth)

None of us on the lynch train.

Successful lynch:

6 Votes for Monok Ochem; (Bek Okhan, Korabas, Alkend, Tiamatha, Eloth, Denul)

All of us on the lynch train.

Tiam and Korabas have both frequently changed their minds/suspect targets.

Denul has affected an uncertain attitude, and tended to drop suspicions as soon as they were met with resistance.

Alkend has been more stolid than anyone in following one suspicion, though not necessarily always voting for that suspicion.

Well, his argument is basically OMGUS, whereas mine is that if he weren't scum, I don't see how he managed to slip the lynch yesterday as 2 scum could have piled on - even if Alkend is scum, that would still have left one other scum to pile on to get rid of Denul if I hadn't forgotten to vote before I went to bed. I was already suspicious of Denul, and meant to vote him yesterday, but that just screamed 'Denul's GOT to be scum' to me.

I could be wrong, and hey, watcha gonna do - if Denul IS town, then scum have won the game, they just need to get their shit together and vote one of us out.

Two scum could have piled on.

Alkend and Okaros already voted on Denul.

Which leaves Denul, Korabas, Tiamatha, and Eloth.

Denul isn't going to vote themselves.

Eloth is town.

Which means either: 1) One scum is already on the Denul train (which would have to be Alkend as we know Okaros was town); 2) Denul is scum, and one of Korabas and Tiamatha is resistant to the lynch - Korabas claims to have gone away and forgotten, Tiamatha we don't hear from; 3) Denul is town, and both Korabas and Tiamatha are scum but fail to appear in time.

At least one of Korabas and Tiam is scum. That is certain.

Unless forced by time, I won't vote till I hear a few opinions. I'm off to bed.

As far as I am concerned, if Denul was town, then scum would have piled on to him by now. I'm not moving my vote.

If yall do the right thing and lynch Denul like you should, then I'll decide whether or not I think Tiam is his partner. I think he's the one that has the most heat right now, and though I'm still fairly certain he's not scum, as I've said all along, I'm not 100% convinced of it. I am 99.99% certain Denul is one of the scum, after that, it's a matter of trying to really figure it out. We'll see how things fall.

That's not much of an argument. Denul could say the exact same for you

Korabas, what role do you claim?

And if you believe Tiam is town, then you presumably also believe one.of Alkend and myself is Denul's partner? Which one?

I'm pretty much ok with accepting Eloth as town, despite the fact that I ?did? screw up earlier about Eloth's removal. I haven't gone back to double check that yet. Which means that scenario 1 is not true, since I am not scum. #3 seems rather unlikely. Not impossible, but unlikely. And just the fact that there hasn't been a pile onto Denul today, despite everyone having been online, suggests that the odds are for Denul being scum.

Edited to add "today".

So what role do you claim, Alkend?

The problem I have with the 'Denul must be scum as scum haven't piled on' argument is that it is the same for Korabas. If Korabas is town, then why haven't scum piled on to him?

The simple answer is, of course, that one, Denul, already has, and the second is waiting for a townie to vote first. BUT that could equally be said for Korabas's vote for Denul! That the reason scum haven't piled on to Denul is because one, Korabas, is already there!

You see how that's no argument at all?

Sigh, yes I do, but I didn't when I said it. I'll admit I've got a bit of a blind spot, because at this juncture I'm most convinced that Tiam/Denul are scum.

As for who do I claim I am? I'm an RI who doesn't have any ability and also doesn't know who anyone else is (although I suspect that someone who is now dead knew me).

Just a word from your friendly Path-shaper, scenes contain no clues and should be seen as flavor. Just keeping up a good story as the game goes on. Before I started the game I knew what characters I wanted to include in my scenes, in case I ran a future game. :p Continue.

I see. Korabas seems to believe that one of us two is Denul's partner, but if we believe both you and I then that can't be the case. So the only other partner left in that scenario is Tiam. Equally, if Korabas is scum, then taking the above on board, the likeliest partner is again Tiamatha. The only other option is that both Denul and Korabas are scum, attempting to CI the other.

I have to go. At best, I will be on again just before timeout. Maybe.

Vote Korabas

And I wouldn't dismiss a Korabas-Denul partnership.

Why not vote the one you see as the common link, Tiamatha? If anything, your analysis has me leaning him rather than Denul and Korabas.

Edit: messed up the names.

I'm in a hotspot with a few minutes free wifi. I am almost tempted to start paying :p

Because if Korabas and Denul are potentially both scum, then any of the three can be in two groups, i.e. they all look as guilt as each other. Basically, my head says Tiam, my gut says Korabas. They could be both right. But I'm going with my gut.

At least one of Korabas and Tiam IS DEFINITELY scum. There are three roles each could be, and only one of those roles is town. So at least one of them must be scum, if not both. Fucking Denul and his fucking non-posting.
