3 days in a row of refinery hits. We are officially in the "no fucks given to the US" territory.

New record in terms of inflicted casualties in one day- 2.5k

Overall, in the month of October, the HQ reports inflicting over 50 thousand casualties.

We are inching closer to the magic number 2k/day average. Once we can stabilize that, and keep it up for 3-4 months, the enemy losses ought to become unsustainable.

I wonder how many of those are just kids out of high school who never wanted to be there?
Rushed through basic - if that - given a shitty uniform, maybe getting some gear if their CO hasn't already ripped it off. Same with their pay.
Only to hear a strange buzzing sound and look up about 30 minutes after being forced to walk toward the front and seeing the drone headed straight for them.

I know they're the enemy but damn ... kids paying for the horrific mistakes of evil old people who will never ever admit it. Or likely be held accountable.
Yes, I know "it was ever thus". :(

What a world. Take me back to the 1990s.

The Russian C2 really, really needs to be taken out. From Putler all the way down to unit COs. Including their "elected" govt.

Conscripts cannot be sent to the front lines (with the exception of doing border watches- see Kursk).

In order to be brought to the "actual" warzone, they have to be induced/forced to sign a contract first.

Not to say that this doesn't happen, but those are a relatively (5-20) small percentage of the overall enemy force.

Majority of people who gets roped into it are debtors, convicts, and whomever happened to run into roaming milcoms with a quota and didn't have the connections/legal savvy/family support to resist the pressure to sign on.

So, aside from the convicts, most of them probably don't want or necessarily even deserve to be there either?
I'm pretty sure the forced/"induced" contracts are a lot more than that. There wouldn't be many eligible age Russian men who actually want to serve who aren't already in. And probably dead by now.

What a fucking mess.

If this was 2 years ago, we could've talked about a bunch of people signing up for "non-combat roles" due to false ads, and then being reassigned to frontline infantry meat assaults.

But we're sort of past the point where people don't know any better. Any contract with the MoD puts you at the whim of the CO, and unless you can pan your way out of being sent "into assaults", you are likely to become drone fodder
