Don't have much time to post, and won't have much time today because I'm in meetings all day, but that is just about the worst reveal I've ever read. If he found Hentos as scum, why in the world did he sit back and do nothing all day? Had I been a finder and found Hentos as scum, I would have spent the day trying to get Hentos lynched. As it is, he mostly sat back and tried to coast through the day. I don't believe the reveal, neither should anyone else.

You haven't been on Eldat all day. You were hopping around at the beginning of the day. But apparently you can preach what you would do without doing it?

Well, hypothetically, he could be the second killer, trying to establish confidence for the next day, since scum have town on the run. When and if Eldat comes up scum, Amp is vindicated and can distract town until the bitter end.

The good news in that scenario being that the real finder has not revealed, and could do a find on Ampelas. If there is a finder in that scenario, of course.

Edit: Added, 'if'.

Edit 2: 'if' actually not needed.

That's if there even is as finder screwball.

You are inconsequential if you are the symp. I already ignore you, which takes away your power. If I am wrong about you, then I screw us over by ignoring the other killer, but I still have that possibility at the back of my mind. Troll away ugly.

Bit rich for you to call me ugly. Have you looked at your avatar?

On the game side of things, I'm liking how real sides are being formed on this reveal debate, very juicy.

Setting up your cases already?

There isn't much of a debate. One of them is lying. If Amp, he's probably symp with Hentos as killer, or Amp as symp with Hentos caught in the shitstorm. Or if Amp is telling the truth, we nail one today. We're no where near D-Day so we can play this one out with fair confidence.

Your false hesitation is making me wonder about you Emur. I was already suspicious when you were following my ass so closely on Day 1.

Hey are you making better sense of this shit?

A second ago this all made sense, Amp was not an obvious Symp in my mind Eldat was gonna CF. now one of them definately is the finder and its all just a stupid waste of an edge. I guess it makes sense to vote Eldat but I can't be sure. I had him pegged as our best move. a CF on Eldat would have us on a clear cut run towards scum and I voted on that. Now Hentos swoops in and starts making lol lol sense while Ampelas counter reveals suspiciously. I don't know what the scales are on this. the best vote cant be so obvious. if we lynch our finder we fuck up big time.

Oh please. If either Eldat or Ampelas is finder, unless we have a healer, the real one is dead either by lynching or by nk.

I've been working to make sense of this the whole time Emur, if you have been reading up. I don't see a reversal of your vote, which is what is really making me think twice about you.

Who is lying and who is not is still a debate. Not setting up cases, but certainly noting who said what, and then we'll see how that compares to the CF. You know, playing the game and stuff.

Of course, Skin, if I'm not the symp, and I am a townie, and I say something which is game-definingly awesome, and you ignore me, then you'll look like a chump. Are you prepared to take that chance? Because it's like 2.5% certain that I will end up being awesome. Good odds.

Awesome like lynching Rikker eh?

Yeah, because that was all me, dude. I totally pushed for that from the beginning. Not got on when it was the only train that was going to happen or anything. You know, same as you :smoke:

Not hammering and letting the damn Rikkter-fever spread to day two? You've got to be fucking with me.

Gah I'm not sure at all about this, chalk it up to poor reading of the game. But I guess all this ruckus means our first instinct was the right instinct.

But that's exactly what I'm saying. Rikkter had to be lynched at that moment, as it was the only lynch which had become viable. I hopped on for the same reason you hammered - because the lynch had to go through, despite both our reservations towards the target.

If you and I moved over to Rikkter that would make it 5 for that train. If there's more movement that way I'll slip over, but really only to get the lynch.

Interesting that you say that Kilava, esp. when you wrote this, when Eldat had 4 and Rikkter 3.

Definitely. It's always safest to vote scum when you are only the second vote and you can parrot what the original vote is saying, eh?

Ye-es, I'm not sure what you're trying to say except backing up my point. Essentially, 'if the Rikkter one becomes the viable lynch train, I'll move over, but only then', i.e. not because I'm convinced by it. I said that after Ampelas - our apparent finder, remember - voiced that he might mover over, so I was simply saying, look, I'll do whatever it is I have to to get a lynch, any lynch, done today.

I was more interested in town not losing a day and two town to a fake reveal. Sorry if that means you lose the finder to tonight's NK but at least you will have longer to find the remaining killer. Good luck everyone!

Sorry, caught busy at work.

Day 2 has ended

11 Players still alive: Ampelas, Aparal Forge, Eldat Pressen, Emurlahnis, Hentos Ilm, Iparth Erule, Kadagar Fant, Karatallid, Kilava, Silchas Ruin, Skintick

7 votes to lynch, 6 votes to go to night.

7 Votes for Eldat Pressen ( Ampelas, Aparal Forge, Skintick, Kilava, Hentos Ilm, Kadagar Fant, Iparth Erule )
1 Vote for Hentos Ilm ( Eldat Pressen, Emurlahnis )

Players not voted: Karatallid, Silchas Ruin

The day had been another fine one, the townsfolk relaxing in relative comfort. The day had been productive - folk had their suspicions as to who was killing them. A vote was called and the choice was clear. So clear that dinner almost escaped - suddenly rising and making a run for the entrance, only to trip and fall over the discarded femur of Rikkter. Limbs were seized and bound and the figure quickly put upon the spit and over the fire.

There was no rush for the first bite as there had been on previous days, for who knew what eating divinely blessed flesh might inflict upon them. Eventually a finger was selected and one thrust forward to try it. At the first bite the figure shook, eyes flashing open. Pupils a horribly bright white. Fingers tried to close on the nearby jaw but missed. The crowd pulled aside robes to reveal axes and spikes and with a single-minded determination hacked into the clearly divine figure.

A short minute later they realised just what they were dealing with. Flesh closed up behind the blades, blood refused to pour from arteries. A quick mind seized upon the closing flesh with an idea. Dropping his blade to ground the quick one picked up a shovel and loaded it with coals from the fire. The next deep slash had the coals poured in as it closed, sealing the fires within. The next too, and another. The struggles slowed as flesh yielded to the coals now trapped. Soon, it was over, the killer cooked through.

The sun set upon a scene of celebration as the townsfolk tried the flesh and found it to be edible; not only had they caught a killer but had eaten well to boot.

Eldat Pressen has been lynched. He was Azathmaster and Scum.

It is now Night 2
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

The sun rose behind a thick blanket of cloud, promising a day of gloom and cold across the Isle. The townsfolk rose reluctantly from their beds and gathered together. Someone was missing.

The door to the old town hall looked like it had been forced open, though none recalled hearing a noise. Upon the stairs a singed handrail and a scattering of ashes told of the victim caught on his way to bed, taken swiftly from behind.

Ampelas has been killed. He was Blend and Town

Ugh, I was just on the underground and it struck me - at the beginning of day 2 Eldat was trying to build a case on Iparth after I mentioned my suspicion of that person...if he had been a finder who had found Hentos scum, wouldn't he have built a case on them? That should have clicked immediately - I am rusty :smoke:

Ah now I begin to understand. For the record cheers Ampelas. way to take one for the team. Best possible result for Town.

I wasn't even on time to land a hammer or join the vote it seems, I look pretty bad so won't be surprised if people start looking. needless to say I wasn't up to date on how things swung about. no matter, we got scum and lost the finder. Hentos is definite town on a bad Day 1 swing. Eldat was supported by the swing vote, leaving either AF or Kataralid as our second killer. We vote on that now?

Skintick was right all along and the other definate town. I will subscribe to his side of the Skintick/Kilava argument for now and await developments. I'm voting Kilava as with a CF this damning and the follow up cases Kilava looks guilty as hell.

Vote Kilava
