Well my plan is to likely fly in Friday afternoon after-workish, then get a hotel for Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday. Recommendations on areas and hotels would be greatly appreciated. Also, I don't mind doing the group hotel thingy that we did in NZ. I have much city exploring that I plan on doing, and little time to do it.

If I end up coming, I'll need to share a hotel too. I forget the name, but there were some nice ones not too expensive near the main strip. However, everything is damned expensive in Chicago...
