CN took the words right out of my mouth, Dolmen. I saw the image and my first thought was 'wow, the depiction of movement is amazing'.

Nothing wrong with being really good at one thing and less so at something else. I much prefer for you to be expert in one rather than mediocre in both! :ermm: Never really thought of it, but I guess CN is your counterpart... the expert in somber/sorrowful etc. wishing to have your knack at movement. You two ought to do more collaborations, adding the two parts together!!!!!

genuinely an interesting idea.

Never really sat and thought about it but you're right Egwene. I'd definately enjoy it if CN's up for it?;)

I can't think of an appropriate scene that combines Sober tones with motion though...

Definitely up for it ;)
Drawing a blank for ideas as well. My attention may be elsewhere for the next month or so, though - Ashes start tonight

That's just not cricket, CN ;)

Well, if you think about it, there are tons of scenes where you get someone fighting but at the same time others standing and watching. Think Rake and Dassem - you have Karsa and Samar Dev watching amongst others. The scene was very emotive from the spectators point of view.

Tavore and Felisin - movement from Felisin is subtle whereas Tavore's is obviously pretty decisive. Put Pearl and Lostara in the Background... that scene has everything in it.

Rhulad fighting... again, the silent witnesses, be it Trull or others...

Lostara Yil doing her dance... wasn't everyone else around her pretty much out of action by that point? Just watching?

I am sure I can think of others but if you post a request for ideas on the General Board you should get lots more :)

Well CN I'm not keeping up with the cricket these days, but in the interest of the project I hope you guys win :)
(No offense england...ok maybe a tiny bit of offense but general offence at the most, quite obtuse in nature :D )

Personal drawbacks on my part include the PC crashing again. taking it apart this weekend, gonna see what I can do about the corrupted recovery files.

Those are some great scenes Egwene. Thought about Brys drinking from the goblet as an addition to that list.
Actually...nearly all of the better Brys scenes have an element of sad in them, much like Rhulad.

Really tough call.

that thread idea sounds good. we need the general feel of the forum here, I think.

I can't really tag the start thread button on the Ipad for some reason or other, Sorry to ask but would you guys mind starting one up?

I'd do it from work but I'm out the office today. :p

I like that he's dressed like a Double Dragon character.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Ha, I think you're right. If you take requests, next year do Greyfrog as one of the Battletoads.

Still remember how I nearly fell off the chair when I opened your submission for the calendar, Dolmen!!!! :D

It's good to see that Tiste Andii are at the forefront of underwear technology.

My exact thoughts as I drew them in (because at one point there weren't any):

"Could Tiste Andii have panties? hmmmn *scratches head*

Maybe a fundoshi?

Yeah I bet Rake wore a fundoshi. But Rakes a dragon, dragons totally roll commando...

or do they?

*google search*

Scale sheathe? How do I...

Nope, She gets panties and thats the end of it."

On account of how inconvenient it would be amidst all the Dragonseks?

I'm getting some time in on the tablet after a monstous gap away from art in general.

Need to start doing new pieces. Thought I'd do some throwaway sketches of places and people. anything to get my mind working again.

Hope to post something up after the weekend.
