Last I read about the Eclipse app they were going to add multiplayer eventually. I think right now the stable release only works as Single player.

What do you mean by other people's? If they had allies' ships in them, you could have. If they had non-allies ships in them (which would be the case for everyone in round 1), no, you couldn't have.

No because the GCDS pins all ships and to do the interceptor incluencing trick the ship can't be pinned.

Actually, it does work. Pinned ships cannot explore, but they *can* influence.

Any thoughts on SS? He was fine last game and even though he said he doesn't have the time, he might be up for a quick few rounds. Who else was in Game II...Emperor Magnus? Think he'd be up for it?

I'd much rather a replacement, or even a bunch of replacements, then Gnaw deliberately bankrupting or whatever. I prefer whatever keeps the spirit of the game most intact.

Did macros play in one of the other games?

Reason I suggested EM was that I think he was a little dismayed at the way the game stalled for him in game II, and therefore lost interest. Same for SS. Either might be enticed back knowing that they're dropping into a good position with strong win-potential and some interesting options - and with IH to coach them on his strategy (and endgame plans) to date.
