What is the chance that I will get the Jump Drive? I just read up on it and it is amazing!! There are some other good ones. Gnaw do not worry too much about spreading too thin, right now the hexes I have are only worth 1vp, I would much prefer to lose some hexes and gain better ones. There is a long way to go and I really want D'rek's home world. I know she may want to come visit me, I am seriously considering the wormhole generator in three rounds.

Phew, and there i was thinking it must clearly have been my turn already!
Anyway, my dear alliance members, the options the Magellan wish to lay before you are:
1) Research Antimatter cannon (flip a colony ship) + disco tile
2) flip 3 colony ships, get the Quantum Grid + disco tile
3) Ppositron for 5 for the disco, with a chance for +4 mats/science to push me to 9 science/10 mats?
Gnaw, I think this got lost in all the banter but:
I still think I should have more mats. 2 to start with, 3 material cubes (pulsar, homeworld and 206 should give me 6 materials income where I now have 4
I think the money cube from Aldebaran was moved to materials, instead.

Well, I'm kinda eyeing up the Quantum Grid next round myself. Seeing as I'm not after the advanced econ, there's only so much I can do to boost my number of moves at present, and QG would be one way for me. So I'd say 1 or 3. Though I suppose we could both get QG But I think it would be good to differentiate our researching.

I vote #3. Best discounts. The Axis trio already threw out a ton of science this round to grab Cloaking and Point Defense before us. I highly doubt they'll do so again next round and grab the two antimatter cannons techs, especially given Gnaw/Tatts can't even use the tech while IH has only 3 science production.

Tatts what are you planning to do with your upgrade when it comes round to you?
Whose go even is it at the moment, so many provisionals!

CF's go now.
Although he does only have a provisional to confirm, so I guess Tapper's.

And Tapper sounds like he'll be researching, so I will say:
Turn 3: RESEARCH Neutron Bombs.
$0, S0, M13

I was planing another improved hull on both cruiser and dread. I am still flexible though.
