Gnaw, I wasn't planning to take the hex, just remove the ancient so Tatts and I could reach the GC. I'd be quite happy if you used an influence action to claim the discovery and kept the hex. We have to remove at least one of these so we can take the GC sometime. 108 is a preference because there are less hexes I need to pass through.
Anyway because this is taking too long to reach agreement, I'll switch my move order around and upgrade first.
So upgrade cruiser with 2 improved hull over electron computer and in the blank space, and one positron computer over the hull.
Upkeep -3 £0 S0 M9

Oh. Okey. I like that idea.
It's your turn btw.

Twelve, you're an excel guru. Can you come up with one for the rep draw?
CF built a grid of them 10 rows and 4? columns. As a number was drawn, that tile was removed, the last one in the stack taking its place. The discards were added to the bottom row.
I tried doing it using bulleted lists. Awkward.
I've now went to the rows and columns. But as I removed a tile,, the others slide down to fill that spot. The discards are placed back at the end of the section they came from. A one would go back to the first two shifting the rest of the stack down one spot. More awkward.
My goal was to have a system that would be verifiable and allow a re-build in case of computer failure. (I'm in the process of migrating from rotational internal hard drives to SSD and Firewire external to Thunderbolt. Lots of chances for data loss)

I wouldn't call me an excel guru. There are things I'm very good at in excel but there is a shit ton the program can do that I have no clue about. What exactly are you looking for? Aren't you using random dot org to do the tiles? along with the tech draws?
I probably won't have time to play with it until later this week. I have to get something done for a meeting tomorrow but I'll play around for about 15 minutes to see if I can't easily find a way to do something. What are the breakdowns for the 1s, 2s, 3s & 4s for whatever number of players game? Isn't the numbers different between a 6 and smaller game and a 7 and up game?

Yeah Excell isn't a great choice for rep draws. It has a formula called Randbetween where you can return a random value between a top and bottom value. But every time you go into any other cell the random value you draw changes so determining when you "draw" the tiles is important as you will need to do a paste special values so you can lock down what was actually drawn. Plus you also run into the problem of returning the same tile especially when the draw pile starts to get small. I could probably throw in an if formula as well to avoid that issue but that still doesn't stop you from having to relabel the draw pile as tiles are removed.
Then again I could use reference cells to adjust the new draw pile....
Hmmm.....
I have some ideas but it would be a lot of work. There could be a lot of reusablilty once it's set up though....
But it all would boild down to when you actually deside that once you enter all the necessary information it's time to grab the tiles as every time you do anything with the spreadsheet the numbers in the Randbetween formula changes. I'll keep you posted. Now I'm intrigued.

Influence. Flip a colony ship for 1 science. Remove disc from Aldebaran. Turn that colony ship face-up.

Tapper, I think my best choice now is research advanced mining so I can get some decent material production, but it makes it less likely you'll be able to research it next round. Did you want me to go for something else instead?

The difference between the rep and everything else is the returns. Player X draws 3 tiles. That means the available number goes down by one twice during his draw. Let's say a One, Two, and Three. He keeps the Three but returns a One that was on his board.
It's the returns that allow so much room for error.

Yeah Gnaw. To draw something up to streamline the process will require way more time than I can devote to it at the moment. I'd recommend just entering a list in random.org and taking the top X results as the tiles drawn. Then adjust the list for the selected tile and reenter the list in the website for the next draw. Like I said I have some ideas and I think they may work but every time I get so far I realize I have to do additional reference cells and have to redo formulas and it kept snowballing on me. Trying to figure out how to return values from a new list is something I'm struggling trying to figure out. I didn't even get to the part where the new list is dependent on the data that is inputed based on the outcome of the draws which I knew was going to be a tricky part as well.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
