So, a few weeks ago, my little sister had a couple grand mal seizures right in the middle of Nan Desu Kan's cosplay awards. She's mostly okay now (only one ER visit since then). However, my bro-in-law had lost his job earlier (because they fired everyone in his department), and they'd lost their insurance on the Monday of that week.

In an amazing show of support, the NDK staff has put together an awesome fundraiser, along with a bunch of famous VAs and stuff.

Current list of winnable private skypes:

Bryce Papenbrook (Kiritio, Sword Art Online)

Cherami Leigh (Asuna, Sword Art Online)

Chris Patton (Greed, Fullmetal Alchemist)

Christopher Sabat (Vegeta, Dragon Ball)

Chuck Huber (Hiei, Yu Yu Hakusho)

David Vincent (Grimmjow, Bleach)

Eric Vale (America, Hetalia)

Patrick Seitz (Germany, Hetalia)

Richard Ian Cox (Inuyasha, Inuyasha)

Todd Haberkorn (Italy, Hetalia)

So if you're in the area, head on over. I'll see you there. If not, well, join me in awe of all the awesome people willing to help out my little sister and her family.

Incredible community spirit.

Two members of my family had problems with seizures. It was tough as you never feel confident to leave them alone for long, my aunt had to watch my cousin night and day at one point as his case was really extreme. Needless to say it's a strong cause. It's unfortunate that Colorado's a world over from me as I've never been to such an event before and it sounds like fun times.

I really hope you guys get a ton of support.

Yeah, she has three little boys (ages 4 and under) so we're keeping a close eye. She's also working on her Master's degree at the same time. I'm incredibly proud of her (though if you tell her that, I'll have to hit you).
