This is interesting. I had begun to suspect that Cast and Barghast were on the same faction because of all their shenanigans the last couple of days. But here Cast seems willing to see Barghast lynched.


Here's what I don't get. If both Cast and Barghast were so convinced that Cast was going to be lynched the previous day, then why did they plan to do something together? I think both were betting on Cast not lynching themselves, and therefore I am not prepared to vote either of these two for mayor.

Planning was done before it became clear Cast was dead, I think you'll find if you check back. Even so I was still game to try - Cast has had no convos with anyone else so I was pretty sure he wouldn't be furthering faction goals and it was an interesting experiment. Unfortunately, he bet on me and seems to have lost despite everything being in place. That's special. Really special.

Also, the fact I was willing to see him dead to find out more about someone didn't tell you we weren't aligned together? We may share some goals, one of us still wants the other dead though.

The PS investment post is enough for me today to be sure that he is actually insane now and this will actually work. I don't trust Cast one bit and am increasingly suspicious that yesterday wasn't voter shenanigans at all but just betrayal, whether Barghast was knowingly involved or not (and it looks for the most part like he did know). Considering Cast's actual role (not the one Meanas was suggesting), as well, he sounds a lot like the type who could cheat at things. Could he be the one 'cheating' at the lynch? Quite possibly, but I think maybe yesterday was not an example of that.

Yes, Cast is one of those roles. But he is not in either of those factions anymore. He's insane, independent. For all your talk of going after Aces or Uni, you're asking for the lynch of the one person who is definitely not in either of those factions, as proven by the investment update. That is my point.
