So I have some targets for tomorrow. I can only assume Cast and Lock must know I'm not on their team else Cast wouldn't ahve voted to lynch me and Lock wouldn't have selected Cast as his judge. Plus whoever was early on the train to get Lock elected are my top canidates for a lynch. I will vote for who ever will elect me judge so I can get some revenge on people who tried to kill me.

Hentos as the other lynch canidate do you want to be mayor? I'd gladly vote you. Liosan, Hanas or Demelain I saw your names being bantered around yesterday as well so you can't feel all that safe. I'd consider any of the above for mayor.

I did. I am not responsible for the day 1 fiasco of no election, and the mechanic has a failsafe in that second choice becomes Mayor if first choice is incomplete/blocked/whatever. It is up there in the rules, and for good reason, too - as you can see .

There were two effects in force - Day was curtailed and Lock was made ineligible for election. They may have both been from the same ability or they may be separate abilities. Just because they happened together does not mean they were caused by the same thing.

Now this is interesting. The Longhorn died in Day so was not the result of a NA against it. It was summoned today (as it is a K series summoning) and presumably sacrificed by its summoner. My speculation therefore runs along the line of thinking the Cattle Thief caused at least one of the observed effects. Something for those in the South and the Corporate Cult to think long and hard on, given that they in partucular want him dead. We have his known location, again Outlaw's Refuge. Perhaps Longhorn are hard to steer¹ and so he has three options; abandoning any other Longhorn summoned at site and hide², travelling via Mud Street in the Night phase, or stay put at Outlaw's through the first movement phase and moving to Mud Street in the second, or stay at Outlaw's through to Day with any other summoned cattle. To anyone that wants you, Cattle Thief, you're swimming in a very small barrel with the only action identifiable around an event that has annoyed a few people being yours. However, the Cattle Thief is described as a limited healer, not to say they don't have a power ability hidden away though. Nothing personal Cattle Thief, just speculating out loud.

Given how Day was curtailed, may I say on thread how annoyed I am - not as annoyed as I would have been had my convo been paid for by me - that was a good number of hours cut short. I'm sure everyone else with one is thinking much the same. Thank you for the convo Denul, it was appreciated. Now given someone has spent on me, I feel the urge to spend on one with someone else, I did offer earlier in the day a convo but no-one took me up on it. Given we're in Night, if you want one say so and I'll do a random draw for the winner.

Judge is now a big power position. 3 lynches will not be nice to cope with in a single go and is going to present one hell of an issue tracing back who has VC objectives potentially served by CFs if/when we get them. I'm inclined towards thinking that the next lynchees need to be the same pair - pin down if it was potentially genuine (self?) defence of them or not - and someone else. I'm not sold on this yet, because I'm aware of how I'm annoyed at Day ending when I thought we were in the clear. I'm inclined to say if we get no lynch tomorrow every faction needs to actively work towards no elections in the future.

More thoughts later, possibly. Certainly more once we have Day start details.
