No way, that way this game would take forever.

I'm pretty sure that's why Taps put in alternate VCs to just plain ole elimination. Even with lynches an' shit, eliminatin' would take forever.

Howdy partners! (/done with flavor text). This game looks awesome, can't wait to see how it plays out.

Anyway, here's a question, since you are all discussing the elected roles- how does the lynchee gain exp from getting lynched? Do we think they survive the lynch and grow stronger? Or die and have it contributed to the hero pool? It's an odd mechanic to gain exp from dying.

Bullets [3]

I was wondering the same

(3)

It was easier to have Elected = xp set in stone rather than 'Elected gains xp except when elected to be lynched.'
And yes, those who can dodge being lynched, get XP as a trade off.

I guess there's not much to say. Gonna be a long day 1 given many people have only 2 or 3 bullets showing. Not gonna be much voting and removing and voting and removing like there usually is. Any ideas on how we should choose our Day 1 Mayor anyone?

I'm more interested in who people would like to see lynched if they were elected Judge personally? Then if I found a judge I like I would then vote for whoever would state they would elect <alt name> as judge if elected.

It's a pretty roundabout way to find a potential Mayor is all I'm saying.

Regardless, no one has really given any indication of wanting to lynch someone, or finding someone particularly lynch-worthy.

Do you have a better suggestion as to how to go about it?

I have an idea.

Everyone elect me mayor and I will apoint as Judge the player that feels they can successfully alt Brujah so we can finally get that monkey off our collective backs. Just kidding I don't want to get mod killed for bringing meta into the game select a super low poster that is trying to hide his super awesome abilites that we all have to fear.

so there will need to be some cases made as usual, then we all can say which we prefer to be lynched

Then Judge hopefuls can declare which they will follow through on

Then Mayor hopefuls can declare which Judge they will select.

If any of these break their 'campaign promise' - we elect new officials the next day to lynch the oathbreakers in turn

What could be simpler?

good plan, Rash.

Only issue is builin' cases on Day 1 in a Faction Game.

it's worse than shootin' blind at a cougar cub with its ma within hearin' distance.

If by super-low poster you mean someone other than Emurlahn, Hanas and Lock? It's a bit early for a low poster hunt, we're just short of 1/4 of the way into Day 1. Or, half way to Judge/Lynchee choices time.

Is it only me or are other people wondering about an election - 10 are needed for election, but if the elected hasn't had their nomination in in time it goes to the person with the next highest number of votes. So do we actually have to get to 10 votes on someone or is it simply the person with the highest number of votes that wins? So, potentially, 1 vote could be the number of votes for the winner and they still get elected - or does the election fail?

Maybe shoot (with some a'yall's eyes open) at the ma, whiles some others a'y'all gunslingin' folk up'n shoot blind at the cub to y'all's hearts desires. Yessir, that should work mighty fine.

Rashan makes a good point here - we may have to jump through rotating hoops suspended over the pit of doom but we still play Mafia and lynch people.

Of course you realise if the Mayor lies about who he made Judge then he'd claim the Judge lied (or vice versa) so you'd have to take them both down to be sure of catching one liar.

Well there is one way to test this theory. Go ahead and put a vote down on someone and if they are the highest vote getter then we'll know for sure.
