Picked this up from library today. One review on the cover compared it to Steven Erikson and Gardens of the Moon. That alone was enough for me to pick it up.

Is it as good as Eriksons books?

I've heard about it on these forums, that's why I ordered it from Amazon. Sadly, Amazon is Teh Scuk and I STILL HAVE YET TO RECIEVE IT. They jacked my order back by a month.

I ordered it:

June 8.

It was supposed to arrive: July 8-16

It's NOW supposed to arrive: AUGUST 21-28.

If it doesn't arrive...

(grumbles to self)

As good as Erikson? HELL NO!!!

I found "Shadowkings" dull, predictable, and badly written... which is a shame, because it showed promise early on:(

I've read it, I found it quite good, but somehow it didn't seem to have a real end. It didn't fell like that anyway.

I liked shadowkings to begin with... it showed real promise, and I was really starting to enjoy it. But then it just fizzled out towards the end of the book, and shadowgods was pretty awful, never read the final book in the series though...
