Deal is I think Rashan didn't get lynched over the weekend due to not enough people and we're still feeling the effects of not enough people in trying again what with day timing out so soon into Monday. No NAs though in the Night so not a total loss but could have been much worse. May well be in fact as if they have to target players in a castle then the lack of NAs might well be narrowing down the targets for future nights. I'm hopeful that the NA lack is due to the killers not being around and not having realised there would be a Night phase over the weekend but it is going to be a few days yet before I can look into it.

According to the timestamp, both Galain and Jalan's votes are too late. It is now night 5.

Motherfucking hot damn lot of shiteating monkeys. We simply do not deserve to win if this is how we play and approach the game.

It is not even as if two trains were running or anything and people didn't switch fast enough - just six votes, all on the same guy. I guess timezone is a partial excuse as this one ran through the sunday plus the US night, but holy fuck, how lethargic.

General Miura Yoshiatsu rode at the back of the wedge of horsemen who thundered through the Fujiwari line, pikemen and archers melting before their lances. Despite himself he grinned, this gambit had only a slim chance of success, but if executed as hoped the sortie could deliver the death blow to the Fujiwari attack and buy the Miura time to seek out allies. The command tent of the cursed Fujiwari general was just ahead. Yoshiatsu swung his lance, splitting open the face of a spearman who had frozen in place, unable to bring the will to swing his pike to defend himself. His horsemen roared as one as they pounded past the last sentries who scattered, some cut down, others throwing themselves aside only to be trampled by hooves.
The canvasses surrounding the Fujiwari banner were stretched loosely to resist cutting, but were tied to poles as thick as Miura's thigh with sturdy ropes blacked with pitch that would resist the first swings of even the sharpest sword. As one, they dismounted and rushed through the three or four twists and turns to reach the central pavilion.

General Iida Gen sat on leather stool, flanked by a handful of bodyguards. Upon Miura's entry, he smiled and stroked his mustache once, then turning the motion into a flick of his wrist he snapped open his fan. The sharp crack of the fan was the signal. The canvasses behind him crumpled and the facade of a complete pavilion disappeared. Grass mats flipped aside to reveal samurai crouched beneath them in low dug trenches.

Miura and his men were surrounded, and no longer had the numerical superiority his troop’s headlong charge had initially won. He inclined his head in a slight bow to Gen, and then he spat, "General, I will watch you from Hell, and indeed await for you there."

Miura Yoshiatsu’s men were beheaded on the spot, their heads wrapped for transport back to Odawara castle to be displayed, while Miura was displayed in chains outside the Fujiwari camp. The men who remained in Arai castle, however, were grimly determined to hold onto their castle, and if possible rescue their lord.

This is the first time in a loooooooong time where a game and timers have continued through the weekend. As a frequent absentee on weekends I can see how a surprise weekend play session would produce lackluster play.

Personally, now that we've started on Monday and everyone should be set to play, I'd like to start looking at someone besides Rashan. As I said in previous posts, I don't think he is scum. I've vigged people for less than "playing smooth" In my opinion we are just wasting a lynch if we go after him again.

Tiamatha?
Oh god, it's Khell. I quit. We don't have enough participation for lynches. We have only lynched twice on what, 5 attempts? Hell, even the killers don't appear interested. Any ideas? I know I can't complain about participation, because I was one of those who missed last night's vote, but I over slept for not just the end of day, but for work. Had I been up on time for work, I would have gotten a vote in. I didn't necessarily want Rashan, but with 6 votes and no other choice, I'd like to have had the chance. At least I can say that even had I made it, it still wouldn't haven't mattered, because Galain looks like about 5 minutes late, and Jalan even longer.

My first instincts - that the majority of the players actually trying are town, and we're at each others throat. Maybe we should get rid of some low participation? I was in that category last week, but that was a week of hell for me. We can either get lucky with a low poster, or get rid of dead weight......or....at least get them talking. I think Anthras, Eloth, and Jalan are the three I'd like to hear more input from.

Let's focus on a target, and get votes in. The only way we can win is with lynches. Scum aren't hardly bothering to kill us or are being countered well by us, but they ain't going to kill themselves.

It's got to be Khell trying to screw with us. Having access to SH would be a huge help to us, depending on who's side he's on I guess. But I'd guess it's him and he's going to screw with us.
