Vengy's death sucks. TBH, he was fairly high on my scum-list. With no personal hunches, I would like to see where Venge placed his money. It may seem acceptable that a Miura general has (some) knowledge of his own troops, and seeing who Hanas PI'd (if any) and who he attacked may just add a direction to our rather unfruitful search for scum.

We could use just about any kind of help right now. Everyone seems struck with indecision, self included. I don't want to wait until the last hour before we try to put together a late lynch on a spur of the moment player. We're going to have to start forming some voting blocks, or something. This is getting sad. You know.
I don't like to say I'm positive about anyone, but I'm mostly secure with Korbas and Okaros. Gait, you're steady just below them, with Tellan and Trake. Alkend and Rashan are like our two guys stuck in limbo stasis, whom I'd wager were town as well, but not the kind I'd like to follow. No offense. I mean Alkend keeps chasing Rashan, and Rashan was once chasing Alkend, and we all, or many of us, see them both as town. Their mistrust of each other is strange, but they're both strange in my opinion.
Anthras is keeping all of his cards close to his chest, and saying little. Galain, Jalan, Eloth, and Barghast are enigmas to me. I'd give the best chances of scum being found there, but not based on anything more ephemeral than gut feeling, as we all aren't talking enough. But that's not to say I'm not wrong. I'm just trying to give mental percentages based on everything so far, and trying to find a way to decipher truth from illusion.
Anyone else have any thoughts? I don't know how busy the rest of today is, and I don't want to worry about getting back on in time for day end. I need to lay a vote soon, before I go, just in case.

Haven't had much time. Busy as fuck, too.
A couple of pages back, Hanas mentioned he was suspicious that Rashan knows Alkend is town - which, as he pointed out, was highly convenient. That lead to a spat over who said what where which lead to namecalling and technicality quotes about what one said or did not say and whether what they said covered their intent.
We are in a position where we have PIed Alkend and Rashan. Scum has done nothing yet about these PIs, even though there are now two of them. Both had shaky stories: Alkend something that couldn't be proven but set up a symp-rescue, Rashan a weird logic to the vig with a weird timing.
I am going back to where it all started.
Vote Alkend.

So we've had a full 24 hours so far and only one page of discussion? FFS. I'm out of anything more than simple looking for at least another 26 hours, once my problems are resolved I'll be in a better position to look at stuff. I'm around for maybe an hour and will be able to check in later, beyond that nothing more today I'm afraid. Bit suprised that Hanas was Venge and a general given how twitchy he was getting about that votes that went from Alkend to Rashan. On the basis that he might have actually had some clue at all and not just being a muppet I think it fair to say he had suspicions about me and Trake but still voted for Rashan so I'm torn as to if he was flailing, acting on knowledge or just stabbing in the dark. With so many failed lynches by now a vig should have taken out at least one of them if only to clear up thread without wasting a day so I think it a reasonable assumption that Rashans vig, if true, was our only one. As has been pointed out, Alkends role is now useless anyway so I'm all for lynching him, although the same can of course be said of Rashan. Nevertheless Alkend has more votes so I'm putting mine there.

Doing some flippy floppy sparse re-reading. Here's some random thoughts:
1 - I agree this Rashan bit has gone far enough, time to look elsewhere
2 - if you want to pursue the idea of scum having not gotten their kill order in, you need to go far enough back that they wouldn't have put in a weekend provisional either, so before PS started announcing mid-Friday that the timer would keep going all weekend. I don't think this is a very dependable scum-finding tactic, given that we've had other nights with no kills, but go for it if you like. Also, bear in mind with double NKs there's probably two separate killers with their own NKs instead of paired.
3 - As for looking for new targets, I'd like us to look closer at Jalan and Barghast. Both of them give me a vibe of not caring too much about the game/town success. Being absent is one thing, but Barghast will be present but not make much effort to push things. Like making "alternate option" votes without any additional explanation of why his alternative might be scummy.
quotes would be nice, but beggars can't be choosers.
I'll
vote D'riss
b/c I have a strong feeling people are barking up the wrong tree with Rash. so I want to leave some options on the table, in case I don't wake up in time for the timeout.
g'night, y'all
His reaction to the PS vote mix-up event seemed rather joking to me, too, while everyone else around him was clamouring for more time or a fix because they wanted to get the lynch like townies would.
Jalan I'm sure you've all seen. He is snarky and dismissive, which makes him seem present, but at the same time it's his excuse for being low in content and to make very little effort.

So here's D'riss summarized this game:
He mentions recruiting, which gets promptly shot down and causes the conflict between him and Lio.
He OMGUS votes Lio for Introducing WIFOM on thread after lio votes him for the recruitment comment.
He has a snarky to Lio
He leaves his vote on for a while, but the removes it, and goes on to vote Desra a bit later.
He says he sees merit in an Alkend lynch, but doesn't vote, instead asking for other options. Noncommital
He's gone for a while, but returns in time to drop a drive by vote on Cast
When he gets back, he agrees with Okaros, and proceeds to actually vote Alkend, but calls Rashan suspicious.
He reiterates his alkend suspicions, but backs off after Alkend's response to him.
I'm noticing a pattern here. He sets up a main target and looks for or finds a backup(i.e. Alkend/Rashan, Alkend/looking for another target), staying relatively noncommital votewise. He seems to have tried to go under the radar after the Lio spat. This could be scum trying to not be noticed after the Lio stuff and subsequent NK of Lio, which may have been him trying to take out someone who went after him, but NK analysis does not a good case make. In all honesty, D'riss has acted scummily this game, but not (imo) egregiously so. That actually makes someone seems scummier to me, because scum would be aware of what is scummy, and try to avoid it. His playstyle is scummy enough to be noticeable, but not so much so as to convince me that no sane scum would play that way, and make him less suspicious. There's not enough evidence there to convince me thoroughly as to him being scum, but I know for sure I'll at least keep an eye on him.

Hajime grunted and slurped the dregs of his tea, left hand idly picking straw from between his toes. “You should’ve seen’em.” He said, using a piece of straw he found in his toes to pick his teeth. “If you’ve ever seen two strange cats eye each other from across the street, you’ve seen the meeting between Yoshiatsu and Gen.”
Uji sucked his teeth, tutted and poured some more tea. Interpreting that as a sign of interest from the old innkeeper, Hajime continued. “Oh, they were formal and polite enough, but Yoshiatsu knows his authority only goes as far as the walls of his castle, and soon not to be even that! Har!. And Gen knows that he’s got the Miura Hanto by the balls and he’s going to risk it all to go in for the kill.” Uji nodded sagely, as if those words had made some sort of sense to him. He wasn’t even sure why this fellow kept coming back every few months or so, again and again, to regale him with indecipherable nonsense. But it was consistent custom, so Uji increased his politeness subtly each time they met.
“Well, I gotta get back to the command tent. I’ve been promoted from the stables to an official tea mug porter, and who knows when they’ll need some tea cups moved around somewhere.” Hajime stood up, hitched up his fundoshi and dropped a few coins on the table. Uji smiled and bowed obsequiously. Politics had naught to do with his poor old inn.

Ok, I asked to be woken up 2 h before work to get myself into some semblance of civilized appearnce with plenty of time to spar,e so I'm here earlier.
Rash, what the fucking fuck? Get your head out of your ass, stop wallowing in mother-fucking self pity about spilling your load earlier than a prepubescent chimp and play the motherfucking game if you're a town role. If you wanna do the "woe is me" Bullshit, at least have the good graces to fucking stop posting and get modkilled (like Bent in the Warhammer game).
