It is Day 11. 31 hours and 59 minutes remaining

3 Players still alive: Alkend, Gait, Galain

2 votes to lynch, 2 votes to go to night.

Players not voted: Alkend, Gait, Galain

The mists parted and Sannosuke saw his mother. But that wasn't right, his mother was dead. She had died when he was only eight years old. She smiled, and held out a small paper ball. That was also wrong, because it was his one memento of her, and he had always carried it beneath his armor. Armor? He looked down at the torn kimono and straw sandals on his feet. Why would he be wearing armor?

He smiled and ran towards his mother, reaching out. The woman knelt, bringing her son into a heart-achingly tender embrace as the mists closed in about them.

Trake is dead. He was Sannosuke Tendo, a soldier of Edo castle and Knucklehead.

Alright. It has to be Gait; he's the only possible target. Trake dying after accusing him of being scum sounds to me like he is after panicking.

Whilst I'd love to jump straight in, I as I have previously stated have doubts about you still. I'm back at a computer in 2 hours and will be doing a full re-read. Saying he's the only possible target when you know I'm around for a vote sounds to me like you're trying to rush into another lynch.

It's been a busy month, so I'm going to jump in; I've previously expressed my own concerns about Gait briefly, and now that it's you (and you don't appear to be scum based on your recent comments about trying to use Barghast as a finder; we could get into it being distancing and all that potential crap, but I don't see it) and me, I honestly don't really have any reservations about this.

This is Shin, sorry to be absent over these past couple of days, I got nabbed into doing some volunteer help work for my wife's family. My plan is to add some scenes to all of the deaths that have happened, and I'll try to make that happen within the next couple of hours.

Back and reading up.

Volunteer work means they pay you in beer, right?

The tarred, burned and scarred walls of Arai castle were silent. Fujiwari troops filed in through the main gate, their ranks bolstered by some "Yama-bushi", veterans all, who had appeared in a trickle over the past few of days. Some Fujiwari men had assumed these yamabushi were just masterless Ronin who were looking to join in the spoils over the inevitable fall of the Miura. Spearman Mibu Tsurugasa wasn't convinced. There had been reports of soldiers abandoning the Uesugi castle at Edo upon the death of the Uesugi Captain, Tamemasa, who had rallied the defenders there. The appearance of veterans here seemed too well timed to be coincidence. Well, either way they had helped take down Arai and would be added to the ranks of Fujiwari 'loyal' if they were so inclined.

In any event, Mibu would soon go home and meet his newborn son. Arai had fallen, and the Miura were finished. His satisfaction was strained by his tiredness, but it was satisfaction none the less. Now maybe he wouldn't wake up every morning fearing that his day to die had come.

Miura Yoshiatsu watched the Fujiwari troops completing their deployment through eyes narrowed against the strong winds typical in the Sagami area. Well arrayed, lines of sight for messaging and with well guarded support units, the Fujiwari were showing their increased experience in battle disposition. Yoshiatsu knew that Arai castle was strong, well provisioned and was likely to hold for some time against even a determined opponent.
But this opponent was, at least for a short time, an ally. Short lived gratitude, but not to be unexpected. Yoshiatsu had thrown in with the Fujiwari after a series of disastrous campaigns in a bid to assure a more solid alliance, but with the loss of Miura Tokitaka and the decimation of the Miura vassals, it was natural for the Fujiwari to decide the Miura would prove less of a help than an opportunity for expansion.
Yoshiatsu turned to review his troops and relay final orders for siege disposition. For his clan, everything hinged upon this battle…

You claim Miura, Miura were in Arai. Arai castle has just fallen, ergo you cannot be Miura.

Please note that no where have I said "Arai Castle has fallen" or "The Miura have been defeated" in bold. I am leaving the scenes as ambiguous as possible and to be honest, I haven't been giving "hints" in the scenes all game. Please do not make assumptions based on what is essentially 'flavor'.

To be clearer, outside of using the names of players in their death scenes, I have NOT been putting hints in the scenes.

Ahh, dammit. I took Fujiwari troops entering the castle to mean it had fallen.

You know, you could just tell me if you're the killer or not, given that if you are we're at parity now.
