Got you, you devious little bugger.

The tarred, burned and scarred walls of Arai castle were silent. Fujiwari troops filed in through the main gate, their ranks bolstered by some "Yama-bushi", veterans all, who had appeared in a trickle over the past few of days. Some Fujiwari men had assumed these yamabushi were just masterless Ronin who were looking to join in the spoils over the inevitable fall of the Miura. Spearman Mibu Tsurugasa wasn't convinced. There had been reports of soldiers abandoning the Uesugi castle at Edo upon the death of the Uesugi Captain, Tamemasa, who had rallied the defenders there. The appearance of veterans here seemed too well timed to be coincidence. Well, either way they had helped take down Arai and would be added to the ranks of Fujiwari 'loyal' if they were so inclined.
In any event, Mibu would soon go home and meet his newborn son. Arai had fallen, and the Miura were finished. His satisfaction was strained by his tiredness, but it was satisfaction none the less. Now maybe he wouldn't wake up every morning fearing that his day to die had come.

Sigh.
I'm Goro, of the Miura clan.
My ability allows certain members of the two town factions to communicate, under very specific circumstances.
Happy now?

Miura Yoshiatsu watched the Fujiwari troops completing their deployment through eyes narrowed against the strong winds typical in the Sagami area. Well arrayed, lines of sight for messaging and with well guarded support units, the Fujiwari were showing their increased experience in battle disposition. Yoshiatsu knew that Arai castle was strong, well provisioned and was likely to hold for some time against even a determined opponent.
But this opponent was, at least for a short time, an ally. Short lived gratitude, but not to be unexpected. Yoshiatsu had thrown in with the Fujiwari after a series of disastrous campaigns in a bid to assure a more solid alliance, but with the loss of Miura Tokitaka and the decimation of the Miura vassals, it was natural for the Fujiwari to decide the Miura would prove less of a help than an opportunity for expansion.
Yoshiatsu turned to review his troops and relay final orders for siege disposition. For his clan, everything hinged upon this battle…
You claim Miura, Miura were in Arai. Arai castle has just fallen, ergo you cannot be Miura.
