Just started this too, about 5% in and really like it so far. Sorry to hear the previous 2 posts were a bit down on it. Just to offer opposing opinions there are 6 Amazon reviews four fives and two fours. And ten goodreads reviews averagkng 3.9.

I would think if ebook sales are high we could see another one.

That it was somewhat less good then the earlier three doesn't mean much coming from me at least...the previous ones are easily amongst my favorit fantasy ever. This book was a bit below that but not that much.

Yes, I figured you were a big fan, and I did not mean to imply you or the other poster were knocking it too hard. I did get a bit of a negative vibe after reading both posts - again not saying you guys are wrong as you're entitled to your opinion - I just wanted to show that most early reviews were positive.

Finally did my reread and got this. Enjoyed it, would have enjoyed it more if it was another 3 or so books as Cook intended.

Would have loved more Dreanger/Mountain and Tsitsimed stuff, as well as seeing what Isabeth could do with the reins of power, and how stuff continues, and some sort of even semi-conclusion with the Helspeth/Piper/Anna angle.

Also it's clear that
Spoiler
and I would like to see more related to that.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

I just finished this recently and really enjoyed it. I hope we see more books in this series.
