Timelords 3 - The Timestream

I was, yes. Time got rolled back to before I voted. Right now I am a bit wary because a Timelord seems to have pushed back long enough to potentially get a lynch. I will be around until timeout so I'm not going to lay my vote immediately...I'd like to hear from people who haven't shown back up yet, and since we're short on time, it looks like we may end with a no-lynch anyway.
Although theoretically, with the numbers we have right now, I believe we have enough to get a lynch if we wanted, correct? Interesting.

The way the game is set up it's in everyone's best interest to not be on a failed lynch train. It would be giving away information for no result, thus not worth it. I believe this is why we have so much hesitation, along with the possibility of extra information, of course.

Drive-by vote. With two Timelords, how can you be sure that Rikkter isn't on your team? It's entirely possible that it wasn't your faction who shifted time and wants Rikkter lynched.
At the same time, I can't really blame him for laying down a vote when I agree that a lynch on day 1 is preferable to no lynch. It's just the reasoning about the Timelord wanting a lynch that makes me see this vote oddly.

Indeed. So with five of us online, four votes needed, and only one person voting so far, what does that mean?

I think it means people are withholding their actions in hopes that others will do the dirty work. No one wants to take a risk on the first day?
vote Rikkter
I believe we need to lynch every night, no matter the risk involved.

Some more thoughts about the Rikkter lynch...
So we have two Timelords, King Sunday and his doppelganger. One of them moved time back far enough to potentially get Rikkter lynched. I can't see any other reason for the shift. This effectively eliminates the possibility that Rikkter could be either Timelord - he can only be one. And by that I mean probability. If we have 13 players and you take yourself out of the equation, looking at the numbers potentially anyone has a 1/6 chance of being a Timelord. Now, though, Rikkter has only a 1/12 chance of being a Timelord, since it would not make sense for him to move time back at the end of the day when he was the sole lynch target. Does that make this a safer lynch for all players involved, knowing the odds of hitting their leader are significantly reduced, all else being equal?

Ok, I think my logic in the previous post is sound and I also agree with Tiam that we should lynch if we can, as I said before. So I'm putting my vote back down.

I am already voting but the probability that Rikkter is important has dramatically reduced so I am happy to vote for him.

Fuck that.
Most people had decided yesterday to go with no lynch and suddenly everyone wants to lynch me because one of the Sundays rewound a bit of time? So one person thinks they know what is best and what is best is a lynch and you all just roll along with them? What if Domingo can time shift too?

Ouch. Upset much? The OP states that Domingo isn't a Timelord (Domingo himself says so). He's searching for a Timelord (Millenium) in the time stream to fix his fuckup. If he finds that Timelord, he wins and the game ends. So he can't shift time, logically.
But why bother voting for me?

I was waiting on something from you. Thought you'd go the more obvious route for a lynch defence and track into thread history.
Not the Reply I was expecting. Domingo with the ability to shift time breaks the premise, he's in a survivor role. while inline with the lore the lore has him engaging in a rite probably demanding his skills. I doubt Blend would give that much of an advantage to the Voodoo Priest archetype.
Vote Rikkter
seriously a lynch day 1 on you is not what I'd have liked but the trivializing a significant action like a time shift doesn't sit well with me, also this lynch has gained enough momentum its best we just see it through.

Because you've had an annoying boner for me all game which says to me you *know* I'm not on your team.
Since I didn't get a list of all my faction I figure you didn't either. Therefore the only person who can be certain I'm not on their side is Domingo. Ergo you are Domingo.

I'm back, guys, had quite the hectic day, and this is a damn interesting development. Honestly, a timelord shifting time to give us more time to lynch is a bit fishy imo, but there's a more that 50% chance Rikkter's not on my side, and lynching is better than no-lynching in terms of getting information no matter if the game is town vs. scum or faction. So I'll go ahead and
Vote Rikkter
Hopefully voting was the right choice for my team.
Also, just an FYI, I should be able to contribute more from now on than I have Day 1.

I do think it does, because if Rikkter's on my side, then its unlikely hes my TL and I can still get some info from his lynch, but if he's not on my side then this lynch is a successful lynch, even if the reward isn't as big as getting the other side's timelord.

I think we can easily assume that Domingo's ability has to do with Timeshifts, though. The reference to the whatshisface voodoo master role who collects from people (I guess that's like finds) seems to point at that. The most thematic one would be to leach 1000 minutes in total from King Sunday + double in order for the summon to be completed.
As for there being six votes and me saying I like a lynch and having the opportunity to:
vote Rikkter.
