A want to see a trailer with Kiefer voicing Big Boss. I was pretty irritated by the fact that Hayter was let go, but Kiefer could be a pretty good replacement as long as Big Boss isn't shouting, "WHERE IS THE METAL GEAR!!!!" the whole game.

Dark Souls II. Hoping to get some an idea of where/when it's taking place in relation to its predecessor.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Enjoyed the first game and the 2nd is one of the best games I've played this year. Eagerly awaiting to see how the White Wolf's story concludes.

Looking forward to footage from Bungie's Destiny. It's sounded very interesting so far.

X (unnamed Xeno game). Xenoblade Chronicles is one of my favorite RPGs, and X might be enough to make me purchase a Wii U.

Bayonetta 2 as well. The first game was ridiculous fun.

Anything from Sony that sounds like "We are not going to treat our customers like pirates from the outset, force them to require internet connections, or make this part of standard practice for greedy publishers who also wish our customers to be treated like pirates and thieves", honestly. Or rapid backtracking on said points from Microsoft (their current attempts count as unsuccessful flailing and blame-shifting, fyi).

Other than that, I'm looking forward to Destiny, more on Watch Dogs, I may actually be interested in Assassin's Creed IV (considering I skipped the past few since ACII, I'm not burned out on the series atm), other than that, looking forward to some neat new IPs for the next gen (unless they're console-only and PS4 is going to make the same mistake as the Xbox1...then I don't care and will stop caring for the foreseeable future) and stuff like that.

Mostly interested in the PlayStation front of the console war, though, because atm I'm not going anywhere near an Xbox One, nor am I interested in a Wii U...

Watchdogs, Destiny, next COD(actually game informer has a stream this sunday, apparently?), Battlefield4, Ryse, Witcher 3, X:com: Declassified.

Like to hear price points for the next consoles. Wouldn't hate a new Fallout or TES (non online) reveal either.

As others have said: Watch Dogs.

Hopefully, Zenimax will clear up what's going on with Prey 2.
Witcher 3 would be nice, but CDP tends to do stuff at their own conferences (streamed via GOG). They aren't big E3 people.

Some new IPs would be nice.

I was really friggin' disappointed to hear that Prey 2 as we have seen it so far is now essentially no more
Basically due to fucking stupid arse-hattery on the part of Bethesda (the parent publishers, not the dev studio), the company that was making the awesome looking game (Human Head) has parted ways and handed them an incomplete game. And they want nothing to do with Bethesda now, but Bethesda own the rights to the game, so Human Head can't finish and release it themselves.
They've started work on their own game, which may be the Prey 2 we saw in everything but name, we don't know yet though, and this would mean a large wait for it.
Bethesda has apparently handed the incomplete reigns to Arkane, which could turn out well (Dishonoured was great), but we don't know what state the game was passed over in and if they'll finish off the development or start anew (and if they continue they may be sabotaged by the difficulty trying to finish off a product not their own).
I'm actually kinda hoping Arkane don't make the game we saw, because I feel like Human Head did much of the great work for a cool looking idea and then got shafted (in this scenario, I'd hope Human Head made an updated version and got the credit they deserve).

That is all relevant, because this was a game I was wondering about with E3 coming.
The other things:
  • I would like to (but know I won't) see more on CCP's World of Darkness game.
  • I am hoping there is more interesting info about Cyberpunk 2077.
  • I'm not too fussed about seeing more on the Witcher 3, because I have already seen enough that I am sold :) Unless they have an awesome cinematic to show, CDProject make great cutsenes.
  • Mistborn: Birthright. I know very little about this game, but what I do know is awesome (it's a Mistborn game and Sanderson is on board for story and dialogue), so I want more info.
  • Obviously I am curious about the PS4 and Xbone stuff.
  • There are also a couple of studios that probably have a few announcements coming that I am curious about (what Star Wars games EA is making and a couple of other studios working on "secret" projects)

That's all I can think of for the moment, though I know I am forgetting some things.

Ryse looks interesting, thanks Obdi :)

Also, OI;
A decent bunch of console games won't be available on PC. Most notably those that are by studios/IP owned by Sony or Microsoft. Sony own quite a few really good game dev studios, which is why they have so many awesome exclusives.
Other than that though, any other game that is made for the PS4 would be pretty stupid not to release on PC. The PS4 is now using the same architecture as PCs, so porting a game will be really damn easy. Obviously I am hoping they do a good job of actually changing control and UI stuff for PC (I hate how bloody lazy some games are with this), but otherwise there's not much work to it.
(^That is based on my understanding of how all that works, which is admittedly a bit murkey, but I'm fairly sure on. Also bits like "really damn easy" are context based comments, there'll still be some back end changing to make it work with various hardwares, allow graphics options, etc., but it's easy and not much work in the scheme of things)

Edit: Mentalist beat me to mentioning Prey 2. But weirdly enough his comment didn't show up for me till I posted mine :)

I'm really looking for Microsoft to wow me with their 15 exclusive titles set to launch in the first year of the Xbox one. Despite all the negative press, I'll be continuing to support them over Playstation.

Honestly, AC3 was ok, but combat missions and whatnot got boring, the best part of the game was easily the naval battles. I enjoyed them quite a bit.

Ugh I forgot about DA3. Hmmm quick google search shows they are going to be at E3. Wonder if DA3 is going to be a launch title for PS4 and XB1

I was going to mention this, but didn't because of the brackets. XD

And yeah, you're pretty much spot-on with regards to porting. The issue with the PS3 previously (though honestly it shafted cross-platform development for the PS3 more than towards PCs as Xbox and PC were similar enough to be easy, while the PS3 was horrendously difficult to work with) was that it used a custom CPU and architecture which made it a completely different system to interface with and use. Sony's biggest mistake with the console, really (though devs got a lot of flak for games not working/having bugs on the PS3, it wasn't entirely their fault, given the relative difficult of porting to that system and vice-versa). And they've fixed that this time around, so no more porting/cross-platform dev issues.

Personally, I'm looking forward to anything related to Twitcher 3 (it'd better not become the new Skyrim... a bit worried about that open-world bit)
Plus there's that Hellraid, more Dark Messiah-ish goodness, yay!
I faintly remember something about a new Stronghold Crusader. After S3 I know what to expect, but still there's a small chance...
Edit: Oh and more Thief you taffers.

LMAO. I don't own any consoles, so I don't have any loyalty issues. I'm a PC gamer, and both my PCs run Windows 7, and I spend lion's share of my gaming money buying DRM-free stuff thru GOG and Kickstarter. Oh, and I also usually only play SP games, and my Steam client is always offline unless i'm downloading a game. I'm the gamer M$oft wishes didn't exist.

But I'm not the one who presented a new console, and showed no new games for it (aside from CoD). I didn't make the entire presentation about stuff you can do with your TV, and having to always use Kinect. Oh, and the Solitaire thing may have been an M$oft comment related to Win 8 exclusive games, but given the direction M$oft's been heading, wouldn't surprise me if they flood XBone with casual games as well.

I mean, if they do announce anything nice and original, good for them, though I'll lament its exclusivity. But if they don't, no skin off my back.

Xbox is what my friends play, and plan on continuing to play, so that's important. Also, halo 5 and 6 are must haves. I bought the original Xbox for Halo and still love it despite some of the problems I had with Halo 4. And importantly, most of the Playstation exclusives are games I have no interest in. So, the main reason I want the Xbox is for the games, which better wow me at E3.

I still hope some of the info coming out isn't true. I don't like the daily license checks, I don't like not being able to share games with my brother (though we have different tastes most of the time), and I don't like the camera always being on. Actually I like the last point the least, because the other two won't impact me much. Maybe there will be time to change some of this in light of all the negative press. Hope so.

No changes. What we've currently got are as far as they are willing to go in toning it down. If the original scramble post announcement conference was anything to go by, the original plan was "always online", "can't ever have Kinect turned off" and "no sharing, no reselling". They ain't moving from the current position, I'm afraid, unless it's back towards their vision of completely invasive super-DRM.

Have you tried educating your friends as to the horrific nature of the current Xbox One plans? I agree with you somewhat RE: the Halo series, but I honestly don't see 5 and 6 being improvements upon Halo 4 in terms of getting closer to what Bungie title is like. You could probably get away with not buying the Xbox One until Halo 5 releases and just play Destiny on PS4 in the meantime...
As for the exclusives...there aren't that many Xbox exclusives which are of note other than Halo, are there? XD At least PS3 currently has things like Last of Us, Dust514, and a handful of others which, even if not stellar, are better than the Xbox's current offerings. And the rest of the great games are multi-platform.

I can even understand not wanting to change because of the controller, but just buy a third-party Xbox form-factor PS4-compatible controller from somewhere not long after release.

That being said, I'm not actually saying "buy a PS4". Being able to game with your friends is important, though in this instance I think I will stand on principle anyway, and we really don't know if the PS4 is going to do similar things at this point. They'd be smart not to, honestly. Make themselves a killing. XD

But yeah, thanks for answering, I was curious. :)
