Oh, and the 2 wins in a row was nice (thanks mostly to underperformances of my opponents). But Peyton against the JAX D? Probably win this one for Venge on his own.

They might play Osweiler and the rest of the second string in the fourth quarter, when they're up by 24.

EDIT: they might as well do it when up by 14. Or by 7.

Close games this week for most match ups. Surprisingly our top 3 teams could all lose this week.

I need Luck to score 14 points or more to win.

Twelve needs Gates to get 11.22 or more to beat zoomzomzoom.

KL needs Reggie Wayne to get 15 or more points to beat Obdi.

Narrowly held out there. I was sure that Luck would put my team away, as he consistantly puts up 15-18 points. Happy to be proven wrong. Sorry Tats Ganoes.

How the fuck can a team like Colts only get 9 fucking points throughout the whole game. That is fucking disgraceful and i'm really pissed off. I was projected to lose, I accept that but coming into last nights game I was confident i'd win. Fuck you Colts!!!

Upsets happen.

Also, this years Luck is not last year's guy. He is probably better as a player but definately not so for fantasy purposes. The Colts switched offensive coördinators and the new OC moved to a game where they run about as much as they pass and the passes are less risky and shorter (this year, 0.5 interceptions per game, last year 1.1 or thereabouts). For Luck, this means fewer yards (bad), fewer TDs (bad), fewer interceptions (good).

I checked Yahoo! for his season stats and the numbers per game for Luck in 2013 are on average 225 yards passing (9 pts), 1.175 passing TDs (7 pts) and 0.33 rushing TDs (2 pts) plus 25 rush yards (2.5 pts) each game, minus 0.5 Interceptions (-0.5). Half of his numbers are made up by TDs, which is basically a fickle statistic: either you throw them for BIG points, or you don't - and if he doesn't (whether because of game plan or because he's pressured or his receivers are covered well), a rather low score remains.

Compared to last season he throws 50 yards passing less (-2 pts) while running 10 yards more per game (+1 pt) compared to last year. TD wise, 1.5 passing TDs last year (9 pts) vs 1.1 (6.6 pts) now, and about the same amount of rushing TDs (5 for the whole season then, 5.3 predicted). That's roughly 3 fantasy points per game less.

I managed to pull out a couple of wins this week in some of my money leagues. I thought I was going to get killed last night though. Only a 20 point lead with Woodhead still to play for me and the other guy having luck and Hilton. That win was a nice little surprise this morning.

Brujah:

Do you think that anyone who has sight, and is able to see you JUST added Randle, and IMMEDIATELY put him on the trade block, is going to make you any offer? It's clear you don't really want him, thus there is very little value.

At least try to be subtle about it.

Then again, people make dumbass trades on here all the time, so maybe you are crazy like a fox.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Yeah, I grabbed him hoping I could trade him. Also, because my second back is either Benard or Miller, and Benard is still sharing with Ellis, and Miller is hit or miss, so I could use Randle in a pinch as my second back if I need to.

But I figured Murray would get hurt. Most people thought he would. Tapper has Murray so maybe he would trade me a decent WR for Randle. Maybe Allen.

I've been on the 'generous' side of trades lately so maybe someone will be nice to me. I pretty much gave Powell away to Stalker. I drooped Rodgers so 12 could snag him.

Plus I dropped Steve Smith, who even though probably has some good games coming up, wasn't doing much for me, and Jones might not play, so I need a decent WR2 for now.

The underlined makes clear why this is a clear "no".

Yes, I tried picking Randle up on the waiver as well. It was worth Stevie Johnson to me and dropping on the waiver wire.
But a trade? For Allen (or Rueben Randle, I guess, about the same current value)?

You'd want me to give you a 10 pt per week receiver,Rivers' main target? For a guy with a current rate of 1.5 yards per carry, who will probably play one game only (Murray is already upgraded to doubtful, AND Dunbar is the main backup)?

There's no value in it for me.

Obdigore has the 2nd or 3rd most points in the league but is dead last. People seem to have a stormer against him each week. This week he had a very good score and still got beat by one of the only people who could have beaten him this week.

Yup third highest score last week and I lost to the highest score. And it was the biggest margin of victory in the league.

Anyway, I messed up already this week, I was going to drop the Bucs D when I had a chance, I didn't realize they were playing the Thursday game this week.

No worries! I'm sure my squad will manage to underperform again and put up a cool 55-65 points. It doesn't help that the Vikings are terrible and that their OC ran Peterson 13 times while Freeman had a million pass attempts. That team is even worse than I thought they were.

Only one team can win the superbowl. Who is it going to be? How long will Peterson be the top draft pick?

Denver or Seattle most likely.
