Whenever that happens, NEVER make it a judgement pick on your part. If he wants the best WR, you give him the highest rated receiver according to Yahoo, period. I know we're a civil lot and just doing this for fun, but doing that just leads to trouble.

As you were.

Well, I was posting from my phone as well, as I am diy in the computer room which is shut down this weekend on account of wanting to keep it from being paint splattered.

I just had my own hotlist on a piece of paper, and my phone to post from - not really the time to cross-check Yahoo for the ADP and the forum to see who has been drafted and who is open, but I will just post the request for someone with better access to do thr legwork ;-)

Someone tell me who to pick so when I'm in last place this year I can blame you? Thanks, appreciate it.

Yeah, I had a tough time deciding how I wanted to use my two picks here too. I decided to risk going with Ball due to his training camp so far. Don't know if he starts over Hillman week 1, but I'm hoping he'll get the starting role shortly, and I wasn't a big fan of the other RBs on the board.

This league is great though, because it is fun, and it is a good way to prep for my other drafts. It's nice to see trends without having to run some mock drafts.

I was hoping Witten was going to drop to my next pick(s) :p

I was expecting him to go this round anyway, so I figured it might as well be me. Outside of Graham, I had him as my number 2 TE. I like Gronk, but who knows his status at this point.

Miami's Defense looks like a good 6th round pick up. :p

Maybe Wayne Rooney before someone else grabs him. Trust me Obdi, don't listen to anyone else.

I think a Hernandez joke might fit here.

Did the Hernandez jokes earlier in the thread :p My next goto is Tiki Barber!

Edit: Also, Twelve, if you are going to copy all the rounds to your posts, make sure you get all the picks in all the rounds before yours, eh?

I've sent Shinrei a message that it is his draft.

I thought I did. Hmm will have to go back and see what I messed up I guess.

I don't see what you are talking about. I see that I missed adding the header for round 1 but other than that it looks like all of the picks are there.

Edit, Edit:

I found what you are talking about Obi. Round 4 Pick #12. Maybe Vengy can fix it on his latest post so we can have it right going forward.

Nice pick on Nicks there, Shan. I was hoping he'd fall through a few spots more, although I guess HD might have snapped him up. With Vereen, here's hoping NE doesn't sign (or trade for) receivers...

Thought about Nicks. Thought about Gronk. Took the lesser gamble over Gronk. As is the theme this year. Playing it safe last year and beating the fuck out of everybody in regular season didn't do shit. I'd honestly rather finish out of the race this year than have another dominant regular season and shit post-season.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

HD, draft for the long term and then lose most of your games at the start. It's a proven strategy that you can barely squeak into the playoffs and win.

I had to deviate from my "R" strategy when Reggie Wayne was taken. Then I played eeny, meeny, minie, moe between Austin and Nicks and still managed to pick them both. (I was really hoping either Colston or Bowe would drop to me!) I'm glad Shin took Vernon Davis so I didn't have to face the temptation. Knowing my luck with TE, both Pitta and Hernandez will play better than whoever I choose. Posted Image

You and your crazy trade offers there Tatts.

Oh and you did it again to me. I was hoping Mathews was still going to be around by my pick. Thought for sure you would pick up a QB this time around.

I don't even know if the players I am grabbing are any good Twelve. I grabbed my selection to prevent the others with good players elsewhere to have great players here. You know what I mean. I am in no illusions to how my team is under strength compared to others. I blame my first pick. If I had ran the office league before we started drafting I would have had a lot more knowledge. Ie Spiller, Rice, Richardson would have been a better first pick for me than Forte.
