Don't trade Foster for Jackson for god's sakes. Texans feed him the ball at the goalline like he's the damned cookie-monster and touchdowns are cookies.

HD, HD, HD, keep your old man thoughts out of this. I am >< this close! Go back to your porch and pipe :p

Foster bye is week 8. Unfortunately so is Chris Johnson's so whoever I'm playing in week 8 will have a very easy matchup already if I don't mix up my bye weeks.

Ha ha ha. So now do you want to swap? Foster for Jackson?

No. I was aware of the same bye week and was willing to accept that. Like I said, if after three weeks we have the two players putting up near the same amount of points I would trade Foster for Jackson. Otherwise I wouldn't be interested. I play to win not to play to field a team of my favorite players. If I can somehow find a nice marriage of the two I'd go for it otherwise I'll play to win first.

This is a good idea. By week 3 it is possible that both players will be out with injuries. A good time to switch then. :p
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

I am doing one of these in the office in work, getting people interested and I actually understand this a lot better when running a game myself as commissioner.

What the hell are you listing there? If that is your dream team you aren't going to get it in this league :D

That is a pretty good team if you are playing a 10 or larger league.

I see the hidden threat in your message, it's probably the weakest out the 4 teams.

Although it is just for a laugh, only two of us actually like the NFL, the other two WILL come around.

Shan, you've got another nasty team in the making. They just keep falling to you either right before me, or before I can get them the second time around.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

My drafting strategy is simple: Only draft players whose first name begins with the letter "R".

That Ray Rice pick was most upsetting. I was even crossing fingers! Figured I had a better chance of Ray falling than CJ. Which was true, just one before me!

Ray Rice is the most adorable little running back in the league. He wasn't getting past me.

Sleep deprivation affected my timing... pick corrected, Tatts is on the clock.

Surprised at seeing Brady go round 4, before Ryan. Shan is indeed building a killer team, Twelve also stands out to me.

And Gronk keeps on falling...

Gronk is broken. That's a risky pick anywhere before mid-rounds.

I'm pleased with my team of boom or busts (beyond Green). Some'll boom. Some'll bust. It's the waiver wire you see........

I'm curious. Does anyone else have hard targets like I do? It's often why I make weird picks. I figure I can get the players I want at a certain time and will gamble a round early/late to get them.

1st of all, Hard Targets sounds like an action movie franchise from the 80's. Second of all, yes, I do tht too. Usually for mid rounders.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Hard Targets: In a world without borders, fantasy players from around the world gamble not with just money.... but with their lives. You think you've seen fantasy football, prepare to be thrilled by what Hollywood calls the shittiest blockbuster of the year!

Broke or not, he is a game changer when he plays. When's the question.

I have some hard targets, some flexible ones, but the guys I want to reach for, are mostly later on.

Anyway, the meat of the message is that Tatts asked me to pick the best receiver still on the board. That's slightly problematic as I pick immediately after him. I had Victor Cruz at the top at the moment, just above Jordy Nelson.
I'll draft him Cruz and Nelson for me, if the general consensus by those who care to comment over thr weekend is the reverse, i will trade him Nelson for Cruz.
