Tennes, getting that info out of you about your guard was nerve-wracking!! I knew there had been no recruitment, so I needed you to confirm that you guarded Nimander at night - and you revealed the info so slowly (for my liking anyway)! :p

Did you know your team?

This is the first game I have seen where every town player who was actually playing was alive when scum died - it's a shame that Barghast got modkilled, would have been an almost perfect game for town! LoL

And with her death, everything was on the table. The Lords and Ladies brought to King Sunday's attention that Lady November had been trying to turn them against him from the start of his party. His paranoia was not all wrong.

"Was she working alone?" asked the King.

"No one is certain," replied Mister Monday, "perhaps you can bring her back so we can discuss this very thing."

King Sunday raised his arms and created a time bubble around Lady November's corpse. Her wounds knit themselves shut, and she began to breath again. She opened her eyes, and then opened them wider as she realized what was happening.

"Who were you working for?" asked Mister Monday.

"I was working alone!" insisted the Lady November.

"I do not believe you," replied King Sunday. "You will tell the truth, or I will leave you in a time loop where you will die, over and over again. I promise it will not be pleasant.

Lady November blanched, her eyes darted to Sir January, who was dutifully standing by the King's side. January's eyes widened as he noticed Mister Monday following her gaze. He turned and tried to escape.

"You will NOT escape!" yelled Mister Monday. He flicked his wrist and Sir January toppled forward, a knife stuck through the back of his skull.

Karosis is dead. He was Sir January.

The scum team has been eliminated. Town wins. Shortest game ever!

You confused yourself with your role names. :p

Good game, town.

No, I only knew Eloth (who was my lover Wednesday). But my time was linked to the members of my court, so if one of you was recruited, I would lose the time associated with you - essentially, I would know which role was recruited, but not which alt/player is associated with that role.

A recruiter could only recruit one person a night. In order to defeat the provisional a entire day would have to be rewound then fast forwarded. There was not enough available time for the TL's to do that. So it wouldn't matter if the eod was rewound 15 times. The recruit would still be the same as the first night.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Technically, if the TL had rewound time, and given the recruiter enough time to change their provisional, they could have changed their recruit. The person who had originally been recruited would be returned to the town faction, and the new person would become the recruit.

Unfortunately, Nimander got guarded on Night 1, and then he and Nimander sort of imploded! Oh well, was certainly fun to watch!

He would but then he would get rerecruited because the order would still be there. The only way to unwind the order would be to unwind the entire day.

Yes, they would have, but unless the recruiter changed their action, they would just get recruited again at end of day.

The TL would have to unwind time past the point that the recruiter put in there last provisional. Otherwise the provisional would still stand.

That all being said, people being recruited would not have been told who the recruiter was, only that they had been recruited. That would have broken the game.

That contradicts your OP, which is what confused me in the first place about how you were going to go about making sure neither I nor the other TL could break the game.

And thanks very much for the game, Blend! I do love the TL mechanic, even though I think we're still yet to see it in full force. Thanks for modding, and Venge as well. Looking forward to the next one! :p

BLASPHEMER!!!!
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.
