Or we use our head and realize that if he wasn't the real guard he would be scum, and that the real guard would have said something by now because we would have a guaranteed scum to get rid of.

I am having a hard time with how this concept seems foreign to people. Unless we get a guard counter-reveal it is pointless to lynch Karosis as we are most certainly lynching a roled townie!

Then why no counter reveal from the real guard? Trading a guard for one of 2 scum is a great trade for town. Doesn't make sense.

But the counter-reveal would itself be contentious. Again, scum don't have to do anything but hide their recruiter to win.

A counter-reveal would at least make us certain of voting for Karosis to test the reveal. Without a counter-reveal, I for one am more certain of the continuous vote removal on Karosis being designed to take attention away from elsewhere - namely, Nimander.

This is a great point. It would make sense with his reveal. So Nimander gets heat....bad TL starts fucking with the time stream. Then Karosis comes on with guard reveal...more distraction from Nimander.

hmmmm, that does throw a monkey wrench into the plans... if he was guarded, then there is no recruit. Unless Karosis is the Bad Timelord and not a recruit.

As Eloth has mentioned, the scum just need a majority. So if bad TL saw his recruiter, and only shot at victory going down... he might be forced into a fake reveal.

If Tennes guarded Nimander, then Nimander cannot be a TL. Which leads us back to the time shifts and Karosis which look to me to be a distraction from the Nimander vote.
