Looks like we're getting the Secret Warriors storyline in season 3. I've been looking for the Caterpillar Files to appear since we found out about the Index, and that might be the files that Coulson gives to Skye at the end of the finale.
There is a line before me that demarcates where you stop being treated as citizens and start being treated as soldiers. It is a line only I can see and I swear until all of you--once you cross it you have declared War. Against your city, against your government, and against Me. And make no mistake: I Love to fight Wars.

He puts Mac in charge of alien tech and Skye in charge of enhanced people? Pretty slick there Phil.

In fairness to the showrunners, that's how you do a season finale.

And I didn't see that final cliffhanger bit coming at all.

Since I don't know any of the Marvel storylines, I'm curious as to where they'll take it. At least now, I'm actually likely to keep watching.

Was that carrier artifact the same thing from S1? It looked familiar from 1 epi. I think there was some crazy professor involved.

correct, if memory served it was skye's first undercover op. It involved a pool party on a fancy island. Can't recall the details, might bne worth rewatching that episode

Yeha. That. There's a Whedon interview that says that scene is exactly what it purports to be.

I wasn't all that surprised - when the epilogue scene opened and Fitz and Simmons were checking out the artifact, I knew immediately one of them was going to have something happen to them.

Is she going to be the big bad this next season?
