Oh, she's phenomenal in her role as Margery. I didn't really care for the Margery role in the book, but in the tv series she's amazing.

She was also one of only a small handful of things I enjoyed about The Tudors before I gave it up.
I agree that Margaery in the books is rather flat, and on screen Dormer is doing a fantastic job with her. Aside from moments with the Queen of Thorns, in reading the series, I remember never being at all sure whether the Margaery (and general Tyrell) scheming was mostly in Cersei's paranoid head, or if it was in fact a real thing. In the show it's a very real thing.

Yeah, but imagine the show-only people seeing Beric Dondarrion madly running to a random river bank, dropping suddenly and then seeing Lady Stoneheart sitting up with a grisly expression of hate on her face as the last image of the season.
How awesome would that be?
How awesome would that be?
Agreed. I'm counting on it.

Also agreed. In the book she's barely there.

I'm not sure it has anything to do with the holidays; they usually have a bye week, for whatever reason.

It has everything to do with the holiday. HBO found out that basically only a tiny portion of their audience watches tv this weekend on Sunday night during Memorial Day weekend and has decided to skip it to keep ratings strong.

Yup. It's definitely the holiday.

I think maybe they want everyone to watch Arrested Development too.

This week's episode was a bit odd. I wasn't expecting Varys and Lorus to get together like that, and Lorus' new haircut made him look a bit too much like Matt Damon. Varys plays a mean piano tho'.

Patton Oswalt said he had hoped that the CANDELABRA movie would end with Damon's character getting his memory wiped, implanted with the Bourne identity and then dumped unceremoniously in the ocean.
That would have been too much win. LOL
Off topic, sorry.

I actually want to see the Candelabra movie. It looked like the right amount of tribute, goofy entertainment and an interesting story.

I'm kinda shocked that HBO isn't showing it tonight. Premium Cable usually plays on holidays.
I just nearly shat myself! I forgot about the week off and nearly started raging because I thought it hadn't been recorded!
I'm happy and calm now though.
The love I bear thee can afford no better term than this: thou art a villain.

I think I may have to move Stannis up in the order of what stories I like the most. I thought his talk with Davros in the dungeon about destiny and duty was delivered quite excellently.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

I really enjoy Stannis's storyline because by all the usual laws of Westeros, he's actually the king, but he's enough of an asshole that nobody (except Davos and his kid) likes him. And Stannis kind of knows it too.
If he was less of an asshole, we'd not have a story, as people would be okay with Stannis ruling.

The Red Wedding is this episode. It's 99.9% certain. The preview for the ep has a shot of Edmure's bedding ceremony and that's only one of a thousand reasons why it's almost definitely tonight.
I am so, so, so excited/full of dread. Is anyone watching with enthusiasts who have no clue what's about to happen?
