I would rather we not have any rape scenes (or at the very least, not while I'm on the sign up sheet).

Because mafia scenes are meant to be funny/taken jokingly, putting rape into them trivializes it. Now why is that such a problem when murder and bestiality are not? Because a)rape is much much much more common and b)most of us live in a culture that condones rape, blames the victim, and makes fun of it. No one blames murder victims.
