Don't get splinters.

Remove vote

I mean, I know that a lot of people are gracing us with their low poster presences to bulk up the people count, but if they don't have time to participate, might as well do them a favor.

Here's the Telas removal of his vote - still very soon after his vote on Sil.

So the two things that stand out to me are Tulas' speculation below and the funny quote by Galain. I am reading up and Meanas' question of Tulas is appropriate. I put both quotes together which makes the underlined funny.

However, I may have misunderstood the OP and game setup, but I figured there were three teams of 6 and one Parshendi. Why would a Parshendi signal to anyone? I'm just going by the very specific numbers - 19 or 22 players. I suppose it could be three teams of 5 with 4 Parshendi, but I just figured the Parshendi would be a recruiter. This is complete speculation, of course, but that's what I took away from the information we were given on the game.

I missed this the first time through.

What in the OP is giving you the idea that there would only be 1 Parshindi and a recruiter??

Your wrong. Honestly there are only 3 pages is it really that hard to read back over all of them. The bug talk was initiated by Meanas toward Tennes then Telas jumped in with a starship troopers reference then a page later Enders came up. I do not mind you disagreeing with me but honestly with only 3 pages in the game so far it is way to small to start to get those kind of details wrong.

Lio gets online later and immediately gives Meanas a green card and adds suspicion to the person Meanas was accusing of being weird before.

So this all leads me to think that Thanadar faction is like this:

Highprince Thanadar - Silanah
Brightlord - Telas (Corv) - died N2
Battalionlord - Liosan (Tattersail) - lynched D2
Elite Guard - Meanas (Gnaw) - died N1
Captain - ???

with people knowing the person above them, or at least Telas knowing SIl. Sil knows no one, hence her votes for both Meanas and Lio. But notice how neither of them did much of a defense against Sil (I know, even without them having direct knowledge of such).

At the same time, Sil has a moderately high post count with extremely low content. Take a look at all of Sil's posts and they are 99% sex jokes and commetns about work. I only saw one or two content-worthy posts in the lot. Looks to me a lot like a faction leader trying to not make waves by not making content.

Obviously this is all very tenuous, but that's kinda the definition of a culture hunt. Feel free to nominate someone else to be the next Thanadar and we can vote on the best case!

Whilst I applaud your effort OE, you missed the vital post where I suggested a Thanadar hunt myself.

I believe it was Inspector Morse who said there is no such thing as coincidence - when all the facts are known any element of chance can be ruled out. Therefore the kills being spread evenly will be explained once we know all the facts. Unfortunately, this being Mafia, we ain't going to know all the facts until the end so speculation is pretty useless.

However, as I'm sure you've all noticed, Thanadar faction is reeling and could be down to one player - depending on which theory you subscribe to regarding numbers.

Just sayin'...

If I was Thanadar I'd be highly unlikely to draw attention to my weakness, don't you think?

I just got home, ugh, and practically missed day completely. However, won't be able to say/read much until later tonight (but most likely yes to a Thanadar hunt, and also figuring out wtf a Brightlord does). Sorrrryyy dudes.

A knowledgeable man such as yourself would surely wish to keep the wine as far from him as possible, in which case I cannot choose the win in front of me.

Edit: Jesus, brain fart mid post, (form to from, impossible to possible"

This knowledgable man, who is currently seeing the world through a haze of fever and snotty tissues, can make neither head nor tail of this sentence.

A Thanadar faction member wouldn't state they'd like a Thanadar faction hunt therefore you can't be Thanadar because you stated it = WIFOM. It merely means you know how to play the game of pretend.

Now, if you join in on a hunt, sure. Fair enough.

Also, Thanadar being down the most players and therefore the likeliest choice of culture hunt is extreeeemely obvious, so it's not like if you were the Thanadar prince you'd lose anything from pointing it out first. It was going to happen regardless

Night.

The quiet time.

Too quiet? No, wait, what's that? A sound? A light?

Oh no, wait, just my imagination. Back to bed then.

It is night 3. 2 hours remaining.
