This is Ruse' removal. He says it is because he does not want us to do anything silly while he is gone, but as you can see he was still around for 3 more posts after this.

Okay the next step was twofold. Amp votes then Osseric defends Telas. Then Telas' reaction to my vote.

Peeps? What do marshmallow bunny rabbits have to do with bugger loving thirds?

Well, peeps are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, kind of like an exoskeleton. The rabbits are in disguisePosted Image

Firstly) Starship Troopers name drop. Please help me punish this in of itself for the sake of my asking very nicely.

Secondly) The ONLY cool thing about Starship Troopers, in my book, was the smoking hot red head that made you exclaim "Denise Richards, who?"(ALTHOUGH CLOSE)

Thirdly) The incredible hulk macro is just asking for it.

VOTE TELAS

Just saying, but Telas never mentioned Starship Troopers, you did. Might as well vote yourself now. Besides, the book was good, and the movie was better! I actually liked it, especially as it was the greatest thing that 12 year old me had ever seen. Now, it's the nostalgia.

Also Denise Richards was way hotter.

Edit. Formatting. IP board is mashing all my thoughts together into one ugly paragraph.

So Osseric feels the need to step in here even though he has not been very active up to this point.

We already have a threesome, we don't need you involved, unless you bring lots of chocolate!

Interesting, Liosan starts the serious play (though I think Amp, despite the "joke vote" ambience, could be accused of the same).

Wait a minute, it's considered serious play when someone joke votes you to get you out of our threesome with Rico?

Even Tulas finds this comment odd. Yet Telas does not respond to it. He goes away for a while.

Neither. But the previous games make it more likely that signaling in a faction game occurs on the first day in the first posts.

Weren't pretty much all the signals 'discovered' crap though?

Ruse downplays signalling here. Like he has already prepared this answer.

So discussion moved away from Telas after this point, he wasn't mentioned since then. Tulas brought up the recruitment post and this created a lot of discussion. Tulas received a couple of votes towards the end of the day and then Telas come on to show his out rage at being voted for. Saying stuff like he has been alted and that we have it out for him???

View PostTelas, on 20 February 2013 - 01:10 PM, said:

So Amp, I'm confused now. Why am I now a recruiter? I caught the part of trying to link me to other players through "signaling" earlier in the day, but why now recruiting? Also, wasn't that idea completely crushed by the discussion by people who actually read the books?

Personally, I think you have alted me and have it out for me, which makes your biases not in tune with the reality of the game. It's the only reason I can think of that you keep coming up with weak-ass excuses to vote for me.

Oh, and you appear to have a Lio stuck to the bottom of your shoe.

It all points imo to someone that is high up in the food chain.

Vote Telas

If he does turn out to be some high level Parshendi or Prince then there are interactions to actually go on a culture hunt.

The signaling part of that case is in so far not useful that we don't have information about any of the players involved, but the last part of that case has some merit.

Since Amp's CF suggest that all the Parshendi are equal, I think it's more likely that he is of one of the princes factions.

only one Parshendi is uber strong but he won't appear in this game. Nor I think would the Assassin in White. He isn't told to go kill anyone until late in the second book.

As the day wore on, Highprinces and Parshendi alike rushed to reach the plateaus. Sadeas's bridgemen allowed him to quickly overtake Dalinar and reach the Saddle before even the parshendi arrived, taking the gemheart. On Elthas Plateau, Thanadar and the Parshendi met head to head, with thanadar's troops taking heavy losses, but obtaining the gemheart nonetheless. And during all the excitement and confusion of the races to get the gemhearts, a small parshendi scouting party reached the Bowl, sneakily taking the gemheart unnoticed.

WOW. Dead thread is dead.
I would like a Liosan lynch right now. He is too stupid for my liking and he can't read the thread properly. The way today is going we will have another no lynch and I would like to avoid that.

Vote Liosan

My vote will remain until something better comes up.

So the faction that lost their Captain got no gemheart this round, but the Parshendi did while they didn't yesterday.

Just trying to keep track on some of this. Maybe worth something, probably just flavor. PS said Night scenes wouldn't have clues, nothing about day scenes, right?

Look at how easily you necromanced me up you boary bastard.

You seriously voting him for stupidity? Liosan and Telas seem to be a little fixated on each other from my meager amount of online time, but that's about all I remember. What's so stupid?

Well, He can't seem to understand the concept of reading the thread before posting.

Edit: grammar.

Damn it. Didn't think Obdi was in this game and repped him from this Alt.

I'm stupid and I should feel stupid.

Wasn't an attempt to do any erstwhile shenanigans.

Well, I read the thread and forget 95% of the shit posted, so if you could point out particular idiocies that are bugging you to the point of voting I'd appreciate it.

The Factions:
Highprince Thandar's Camp
Highprince Dalinar Kholin's Camp
Highprince Sadeas's Camp
The Parshendi

It doesn't mention cult. He even says it is a faction game yet you bring up recruitment. This wasn't hinted at anywhere. So not so stupid.

The Highprince's are all on the same side in the book even though they are competing for the Gemstones. The Parshendi are the main force set against them. This is early on in the books and he specifically said no Kaladin meaning joint assault will be out of the question. Also to note that the Parshendi field the same numbers as any one of the Highprince's armies. That said, say each faction had 3 people. (9). Then the Parshendi would need 9 people minimum to go against that set up. The Parshendi are the odd faction out so I would say that they would have the numerous numbers right now. If it was 4 to a faction (12) then the rest could quite easily be Parshendi. In fact running that scenario in my head, what links 19 and 22?

4 people each faction, leaves 7 Parshendi. (19)

5 people each faction leaves 7 Parshendi. (22)

That fits. It also means that lover pairs throughout the Parshendi is a wrong way of thought. I am not saying that there isn't lover pairs but I know I am not one and you mentioned mechanics.

So the question is why 7?

Did you just admit to being a Parshendi and not having a lover connection, so therefore there must be 7 Parshendi? Is that what I can read this as?
