Body in the cask at Krul's bar

I'm re-reading Toll of hounds for the second time and in part 3 of the book on page 506 (in my ebook version.) After the slaughter at Kruls bar Antsy kick a cask, (I'm assuming its the one Bluepearl Brings up.) and out comes a masked corpse. With 4 vertical lines on it. Incidental, not sure? My question being who is this person? The only conclusion i can come up with is its either a seguleh, maybe some past 4th? On the other hand earlier in the book there is a reference to a group in Daru called the revenants led by a rogue seguleh. One of them maybe? Why either option would be interned in a temple to Krul is beyond me, and is where my theories fall apart... Can anyone shred some light on this matter?

The Seguleh inside K'rul's temple have, it would seem, been there fore a long, long time. From the sound of it, hundreds if not thousands of years may have passed between the temple falling into disuse and the Bridge Burners taking up residence. Most likely the Seguleh are from back when the Tyrant last ruled over Darujistan. What they are doing in caskets and why they are pickled is anyones guess. Maybe K'rul likes pickled flesh. The Elder Gods are said to embody a host of unpleasantries.

It is indeed a Seguleh and more is revealed in Orb, Sceptre, Throne, not much mind.

Also of note. A Mask with 4 marks would indicate the Fifth, not the Fourth.
Seguleh are ordered by their mask marks plus one... Not a big deal or anything, but will help you keep from being confused!

I had to google Rafo. It occurred to me after posting that didn't know enough about the seguleh before posting. Thanks for the heads upon the ranking. I've been under the assumption that they sent the first to Lether, but it was the second. I've yet to read DOD or The Crippled God seeing how when i started the series Erikson had just finished TOH. It was a pleasant surprise finding out that with the end of the series Esslemont would write about the crimson guard. I'm looking forward to trading his works.

You should read Return of the Crimson Guard before Dust of Dreams. Their timelines intertwine and a reference in DoD will spoil a nice emotive little shocker for you.

Actually, the female seguleh you meet in RG had... my memory is fuzzy... either 10 or 11 slashes on her mask, making her the 11th or 12th.
At the point of TTH we've only ever heard of the third, Mok, who was sent to the Panion Domain. And of course the undead "Soldier" from BH who carries the mask of the Seguleh Second.

Well, Mok and the other two with him... Weren't they both ranked in the Thousandth? Thurule and.... S-something?
I know that Envy had three with her, but I don't recall any much talk about their ranks - I sort of recall Toc telling Tool about them and how good Mok must be as a warning.. But the details are fuzzy.
Who is this undead Soldier you speak of!?
I can't remember that at all!....... Damn. I think I'm getting old.... They say the Memory is the second thing to give out on you... Right after the pecker.... Or is it the other way around? Don't recall.

Her name is Oru, and she is indeed the 11th (10 slashes)

And his two buddies: Thurule and Senu. Both not high ranked (masks crowded with patterns).

what? no. we never learn the name of the seguleh from RG. all we know is her markings because she never speaks, not even to karsa.
oru, a male, commands the expedition that iron bars meets in RotCG. leal, the female seguleh who fights iron bars is the lowest ranked of that expedition.
There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.
