As for this Aliens role.. that makes me nervous. I didn't play either of the Alien mafia games, but I know don't like the role descriptions and I'm starting to agree with the view that roles can sort of indicate scum or town (though I agree that if it's a role from a faction game, it should be largely ignored). I mean, I don't think it's an obvious indication painted in big red letters or anything, it's just a suspicion.

Also, agreeing with lynching Ryll here, I think letting him live past this day will just muddy the waters and interfere with more scum-finding.
