Your confusing the first Alien game with the second. In the first the Predator was a god like being who wipped out everyone in a matter of days and laughed at them while he did it. In the second the Predator and the alien bitch did a 3 way stand off with newt and then killed each other to give town the win. Oh they didn't do that on purpose but hey.
