No, the main reason why Omtose's vote won't do at all is because he seems to imply that Ryll and I have been arguing with each other, which we haven't been doing. Or am I misreading Omtose's sentence?

Sure. I was merely considering that if the Jester was recruited, he'd have a win condition. Not his original one, but a VC never the less. I was also interested in recruiting in general, thinking that there is probably a role or two in this game with that ability and that the Jester would be a good one to watch for such reasons.

Hmm, that's pretty reasonable. I just thought it odd that it got brought up twice by two different people. I'm doing a reread now, but I don't remember any discussion about potential recruitment on day 1 and it stuck out to me for some reason.

No problem. I was kind of afraid to talk about it too much seeing what happened to Eloth for discussing the FM. Somethings are better just to discuss when someone else dips their toe first.

Doesn't necessarily mean it works like that here though.

Probably a good chance of it being evidence against. Seems a bit unfair to give people two votes. Then again you never know, this isn't supposed to a be perfectly balanced game.

I might be a little reluctant to believe it since the meltdown that resulted from someone's slip in the Rot3K game was amazing, and this one seems so prosaic by comparison

Ah, so it hasn't been tested as yet. Mind you, as I've said before, the dual role is not necessarily from the Rot3K game, so it may not conform to those rules.

I must confess, I'm almost coming to the same conclusion of Kilava on Amp. Getting a serious headache in the process. But I may just have to go with Ryl myself. Plus, I'm curious if the Korlat/Rashan thing pans out .

But I'm committed to finish reading before vote swapping.
