I agree with Dolmen about the flame - that was my first thought when I saw the picture. Have you ever done a depiction of the last hours of Y'Ghatan? You'd be able to push the boat right out with flames like that!!!

I like him. Very much as I would imagine Cuttle.

Question - is it just me or do his eyes look in two different directions? And if so... deliberate or... not?

I often find the world difficult to visualize (I don't picture a bright, sunny, lush, green forest like I do with most fantasy novels) and these landscapes really help me picture the world better. Great work, and I especially love the portraits. You got real talent man, keep it up
