That's a huge list (2 days later, I finally got around to reading most of it).
gonna go in categories from stuff i'm actually looking forward to:
1)Action
Sleeping dogs: this looked amazing on E3, want this a lot.
Star Wars 1313: first time I hear about it, I R intrigued.
Remember Me: the story is nifty, Paris setting is cool. Not 100% sold on gameplay, but colour me interested.
Dark: Vampires! against evil corporation! and it pulls many of the Bloodlines nostalgia strings. I'm curious
Beyond Good and Evil 2: THis won't happen. But it'd be so awesome if it did.
Collateral: because I love the fifth element, this is interesting.
Nekro: I helped to Kickstart this.
2) Adventure games: I know very little of the genre. I'll say I'm interested in Amnesia (because I WILL play the first one, dammit. sometime soon. Maybe.)
3) FPS
Bioshock: Infinite--because the games seem to finally be evolving past being System Shock 2 wannabees.
Prey 2: Because this was the best game of 2011 E3, and I want it, dammit!
SIr, You are being Hunted: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.! With robots! and set on moors! also, Kickstarted.
4) MMOs--not my cup of tea. But World of Darkness will undoubtedly be interesting to read about.
5)Platforms: I also know nothing about the genre.
6)Puzzle: see above
7)Racing: see above.
8)RPGs
Wasteland 2: Kickstarted
South Park:--It's South park. And it's by Obsidian. need I say more?
Shadowrun Returns: my first ever Kickstarter pledge. I loved the Shadowrun books. Want this yesterday.
Dead State: It's like X-COM, with zombies! and with choice+consequesnces from Troika (so, Arcanum/Bloodlines level of choice). Kickstarted.
Dark Eye: Demonicon. this
preview made me super-curious about the game. But we've heard nothing about it since, and now it's due for release in January? I'm sceptical, yet hopeful.
Raven's cry: Pirate setting for RPG is always interesting.
Nuclear Union: it's S.T.A.L.K.E.R! but an RPG! and made by a Russian team, so expect bugs, quirkyness and a ton of ambition.
Mars: War Logs: Cyberpunk RPG set on Mars. gimme nao.
Mistborn: Birthright--huh? cool.
9) Sim - not my thing
10) Sport --pass. I play my sports IRL
11) Strategy
Rome 2: Total War: maybe. If I feel I'll have the time for such a massive commitment.
Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm: I really, really, REALLY don't like Blizzard after the shenanigans they pulled locking me out of offline play In Wings of Liberty and the whole D3 always online fiasco. But I also really, really, REALLY enjoy the "choose your own adventure"-type campaigns in strategy games, and I thought Wings of Liberty Campaign was worth the money. So I'm incredibly conflicted about this one.
Europa Universalis 4: see Rome 2 on time commitment.
Divinity: Dragon Commander: previews on this look amazing. see also non-linear campaign metagame comment from SCII.
GODUS:, maybe? I do recall liking the original Black & White back in the day....
Maia: I htink I plenned to put money in this, but then forgot. definitely interested.
Planetary Anhihilation--see Maia comment.
Xenonauts: Kickstarted. Love me some X-COM.
12) Future games:
Project Eternity: Kickstarted
StarcraftII: Legacy of the Void--see the Heart of the Swarm comment.
Thi4f--want it. Will probaby play through the first 3 by then
Dreamfall--Have this on Steam. Need to play it.
Cyberpunk 2077--WANT NAO!
Also Missing-Witcher 3. CDPRed's supposed to make an announcement about it in Feb.
God, that is a lot of games. and a ton of money to spend. The backlog, it will grow....
