mafia stuff, don't worry the end draws closer, you don't want to open your eyes I promise. This is like Neo and The Matrix. Twelve is about to screw you over.
Apt is the only one who reads this. Apt is nice.

How? I'm not allowed to break an alliance in the the last round. Thems part of the rules.
But I agree mafia is getting pretty intense. It has the feel of D'Day that is for sure.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

It might be, at least in Capella.
Move Dreadnaught in Eta Geminorum to the GC via Formalhaut-Capella
Move Dreadnaught in Eta Geminorum to the GC via Formalhaut-Capella
Move Dreadnaught in GC to Gamma Velorum (Shellworld hex) via Beta Leonis-Chi Draconis
When it comes back around to me PASS!!!!!!

I think this is going to be one of the most comprehensive victories I've seen for a while in Eclipse.
Shows what happens when people don't keep up in the arms race.
And I still pass.

Ooooh, Wormhole Generator! For some reason, I kept thinking of it as a Warp Portal, so I didn't pay any attention to it
Can I react?
Can I react?

Man, I really wish I had actually realised what a Wormhole Generator was, I could have plugged up that hole - you took advantage of my apathy!

If I can react,
MOVE Interceptor from Alpha Centauri to Gamma Velorum. Lol.

Actually I thought of that too. You could have gotten an interceptor into the hex of the shellworld after I researched the Tech but I still would have reached the hex. Then you could have moved a secon interceptor into the hex at best.
If you want you can react and move one interceptor into the hex.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I admit I have no clue what the point standing is right now. How much of a squeaker will this be, if at all?

Well, I wanted to read your words of bitter disappointment and despair following the result, but I've decided to take pity on you and tell you now, so that you can be prepared: I'm afraid you've lost. It was close, though. Really good effort, unlucky in the end.

Hmmm, I may do one final reaction (after Twelve's dread moves, before he passes). Not sure yet.
In either case, I will resolve this whole thing tonight, ie in 6-8 hours or so. Enjoy the anticipation!

Twelve, CF, shall we shake hands now? I've already taken the champagne out of the ice (need the ice to keep Twelve's balls in, he'll likely want them back later), and am figuring out how to pop that cork.

Very entertaining and I've enjoyed the byplay. Thank you very much for the victory Champagne. Nothing has ever tasted so good. I've enjoyed this very much. It has been great fun and if we can get another mod I too would like to sign up for the next game.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Do you feel that warm, fuzzy, tingly feeling? Perhaps a sense of elation? Do you feel uplifted? Yes?
Well, I have some news to tell you.
That's not a sense of victory.
That's the feeling of the Grid enveloping you.
Nice, isn't it?
