I think that was pretty clear. She's stalling to see what we're going to do...unless you decide you're going to do something too.
Just take yer move....and really don't worry about aggression from us. It isn't worth our while given our other pressing issues.

@ Twelve
We *can* win though. I say move your interceptor and whatever else you care to move up to the far northeast quadrant so we can harass IH from 2 angles next turn, and hopefully crushing defeat last round.
I will back you up with 3 interceptors of my own by round's end.
With the upgrades I'm putting on my cruisers this turn and potential starbases in Beta leonis (with similar upgrades) next turn there is no way EM is going to be able to take it back. He'll have to fight his way in some other way or hope to tie up my forces in the final round out of spite.
As it stands, I don't think I can win against EM this round even if I do a full commit. He just has too may HPs to get rid of, especially if he drops advanced hulls on those star bases.
Bear with me on the warp portal plan, reinforce the GC and next turn we shall stomp colons.

Addendum @ twelve
oh...I thought you built cruisers already. Maybe build those first. Beta sextantis is a good choice.

We have to attack someone. I think we made a mistake last round by not attacking. Now we have to and none of the options look good. I'm going to upgrade for my action. I just can't figure out what yet. And as for who I think we should attack I think I'm leaning towards EM. I feel that I can put enough Antimatter cannons in the GC that it should keep IH at home as his advantage is with his starbases gaining inititive. And with us attacking EM it removes is army once and for all. Then we can focus on attacking Khell next turn as he only has two action left this round.
But I'm open to options.

Sorry I'm just trying to figure out what I should do. I need a clear course of action as who we are going to attack as that will determine what type of upgrade I should be doing. I'm tempted to sacrifice interceptors in Mu Herculis so I can neutron bomb all the rest of EM's hexes.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

But if you want to attack IH in the north then that if good too.
Upgrade Dreadnaught with tachyon source and antimatter cannon
over original source and ion cannon

If need be, I will use the influence action to remove discs from the map and put them back on my board in order to continue playing this round - it's hardly like I have few systems I can remove from.
You can be guaranteed my non-interference if you attack IH. I will not use the opportunity to go through your back door or anything like that.

Given the amount of actions he can do, Khell is overestimating his ability to build, upgrade and place a fleet at our doorstep, even if he does the warp portal development, so I'm not worried overmuch about reprecussions of attacking EM.
EDIT - but then again he seems singularly focused on annihilating us if we fuck with EM...so it can only be a hindrance.
If you look at EM's card however, he has a lot of HPs between dreads and starbases, enough resources to build a third starbase and an extra action to put extra hulls + better cannons on it. Considering ALL my ships are 1-hit wonders (or will be soon) chances of success against all that are poor, even with your help.
Conversely, with the defenses I can raise next turn (with or without starbases), he isn't going to be beating down Beta Leonis' door anytime soon. We can keep him at bay until the end of the game or he can devote some resources to help Khell with whatever his plans are.
So I am still for the NorthEast Quadrant sneaky sneak on IH. (not so sneaky now that we're discussing it)
BUILD - 2 interceptors in Zeta Herculis

But we all know how much you like back doors, Khell
Also, rather than using the influence action to remove discs, just let yourself go bankrupt and remove them at upkee - you get a few extra discs that way

@ Twelve,
A promise from khell (who seems pretty genuine about it) that he won't fuck with us while we go after IH is encouraging.
I mean, according to drek's analysis he probably doesn't need to attack anybody to win anyway....though it would be awesome if he steamrolled EM for the VPs despite earning the alliance breaker.
EDIT
So yeah. Let's leave EM alone. He's not going to become a threat before the end of the game.

Actually he will have to use the influence option as he will hit the end of his board before bankruptcy even kicks in. I think he only has 2 influence disks left on his board at the moment.

Well since I gave up going for the Quantaum grid tech I absolutely need to take a hex with money on it. I'll still need to convert 4 resources to pay for my actions but it would get even uglier if I don't get more money.
What are you talking about your ships becoming one hit wonders? Don't put the missles on your interceptors. The plasma cannons are better. If you had 4 cruisers then I would put the missles on them just for the added inititive to gain an edge over whoever we are attacking but with the techs that are out there I don't see them as a good use of our ships at the moment.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I mean them having only 1 hitpoint, or the potential enemies being able to take them out with 1 hit from whatever weapon they manage to hit with. 6 interceptors becomes useless real quick if he lands 3-4 hits.
