How do you think this is going to play out, twelve? It's interesting that there's some diplomatic relations between two links of the "alliances triangle", but none between you-CF and EM-Khell. With points being as close as they are, will anyone risk taking the traitor card? If not, do you think there'll be a lot more hostilities between you guys and EM-khell then between me-IH and anyone?

Honestly I don't know. In the I take out CF route I outlined yet abandonded I was willing to take the traiter card but only because I would open up a diplomatic relations slot for a reputation tile and I would have gained two 3 point artifact hexes. I think if an allinace feels they can gain more than they lose then yes I think someone will take the traitor card. I'm hoping that I can get you to take it in helping defend IH from me or in helping IH in attacking me and I think you feel just the opposite. I honestly think that you or I will ultimately end up with that card.

Personally I hope it's you.

Well, I'm very fickle so who knows what will come up down the line, but right now I don't plan on taking it this game at all! Even better if I can force you into taking it.

At this point though, there's not a whole lot to be gained for either me or IH from lots of combat. IH has too many diplomatic relations to get reputation tile points, and I'm running out of money too fast each round to have enough actions for builds, upgrades and moves. If I can just kill the ancients around me and spend materials on orbitals and monoliths, I'll probably be pretty happy, though I don't know yet if I actually stand a chance at winning like that.

Not if I throw a couple of missles and computer on it.

Are you going to defend "ZZ" or Hex 381 if she jumps to it? If so I can carry on with my current plan, if not then I'll have to be defensive.

I don't need the warp portal to attack you - I can just move out of Vega.

But I'm not going to :p

If you jumped onto a hex where he had a starbase could you move forward? Or would you have to retreat back to whence you came?

In the action phase? I could move out in any direction any ships that aren't pinned.

If retreating in combat, you have to move to a hex you have an influence disc at, and which has no enemy ships.

Tats have you pm'd CF letting him know it's his turn again? I know that he won't be around much today and I should take that as I can ignore Eclipse and actually get some work done today but this round is looking very exciting.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

So next go could you jump onto his hex then jump onto my homeworld?

With my interceptor through the warp portal? Yes, I could, but I'd get the traitor card from passing through his hex. It'd be far easier for me to just move the cruiser in Vega south, then south-west into your homeworld - I'd have a better ship there and wouldn't get the traitor card.

Hey, I have an idea.

Why don't the three alliances all go and wipe out Tatts? Like, to the extent of completely erasing any last vestige of Hydran activity in this galaxy.

It would be almost completely pointless, but sooo funny :p

Then let's kick dirt in his face.

Somehow I don't think that would stop him from PMing you to let you know when it was your turn again.

But yeah. That would be hilarious!!!

That is so cruel D'rek! Feeding the poor soul false hope instead of putting him out of his misery! I bet you'll be saying he can still turn it around whilst simultaneously gobbling up his last orbital.

Since twelve has indicated that he does not require Assistance in the GC, i am Debating what to do. Probably a small encroach into Hegemony territory is In order, yes?

Move two Int from zeta herculis to beta leonis. For the Alliance!

Are you sure you want to do that? Even with 6 interceptors it's likely that they will all be wiped out. Especialy if EM moves even two more of his ships into that hex. Plus he can build 2 more as well. It might be better if you upgrade some of your other blueprints instead of attacking.

But even if they are all wiped out you can replace them all next round so in a war of attrition you might come out ahead.

It's up to you but I guess no guts no glory as they say.
